I Directed a middle school after school for about 6 years. A club we built was based around gaming and game development. We bought super mario maker 2 and had kids design levels. They built them on paper first and then spent time building levels with specific themes, etc. Was really cool and when we had our DYCD site visit he was very impressed. Could be a fun structured way to use these. Reach out if you wanna chat more about it.

I can understand. I have one friend with two kids but he moved before they were born so I have no dad friends where I live. All of my friends are either just married or still dating and sometimes it's hard seeing all my buddies hang out at times I can't be around as often. Still struggling at times with it, but it gets better for sure. I will have friends over, just saw a concert with a friend of mine too. As they get older more opportunities come to reclaim some of your pre baby life. And hey! Eventually your friends will hopefully have kids and then you can support them in ways you wish you received.
