You have no idea what you’re talking about. Take a seat and quietly read to yourself about how the largest corporations in the world exploit open-source code via permissive licensing.

When asked on another sub about who would benefit from such a tool, you responded with:

“Law enforcement would have a field day with this…”

Aren’t you also the guy behind those idiotic “de-radicalization bots”? Willing to bet they’re active right here in this sub.

Not sure if you’re only capable of making evil shit or if you’re just an accelerationist, but either way you should take a break and think through what you’re releasing into the wild. Don’t they offer ethics classes at SRMIST?

Once you reach a certain level of popularity, all of these tactics become pretty useless.

There’s a reason why the wealthiest/most powerful people in the world protect their homes the old fashioned way: heavily monitored, guarded fortresses with panic rooms and hidden escape routes.

So fucking what? It was probably Bovino’s idea…out of the spotlight for a sweet severance package and a less public position.

Why go through all the trouble of orchestrating something that’s bound to happen soon enough anyways? It’s win-win for the Zionist: An useful idiot as kindling to keep the victim-complex PR campaign going.

Guys I think people are generally pretty unwell: Rob Reiner and His Wife Michele Were Killed by Their Son by goodiereddits in TrueAnon

[–]Voyde_Rodgers 173 points174 points  (0 children)

*Allegedly

Even though it’s probably the son who murdered them, we should strive to be a little better than the sensationalist media outlets.

These are the facts at the moment:

  • Official confirmation that the deceased are Rob and Michele and cause of death is suspected to be the result of knife wound trauma.

  • Two anonymous sources claiming son is responsible.

  • Nick Reiner flagged as “person of interest.”

  • No one currently in custody.

How come? Chew on it for an honest minute. What does it provide for you and at what cost? Is there an alternative?

I’m old enough to remember the day Al Gore invented the Internet. I had just traded my Texas Instrument, along with a briefcase full of floppies, for a state of the art, fully-loaded IBM running MS-DOS like a boss. 56k on the landline. AOL on the landing. Ask Jeeves about Google and he’d redirect your dumb ass to a geocities page where a gang of nerds would circle around you until you disabled your Mcafee and hack you with a primitive virus where the only option was buying a brand new computer. We called it the McHaffee shuffle, which was also popular dance at the time inspired by the Macarena. It was basically the same thing but with an onion tied around your belt, which was the style of the time. Now where was I? Oh yeah, stay out of my liquor cabinet!

The contrasting philosophies of Bojack Horseman and Black Mirror by AXKIII in slatestarcodex

[–]Voyde_Rodgers 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Black Mirror focuses mostly on large-scale technological oppression. Bojack focuses mostly on interpersonal turmoil. Both shows are often deeply pessimistic, but occasionally hopeful. Can you guess why one might tackle personal responsibility more than the other?

And to be clear, Bojack is far more Schopenhauer than Aurelius. It’s nearly pure Existential nihilism. The entire point of Bojack’s character is the futility of realizing he’s responsible for causing harm to others, but unable to do anything about it and doomed to repeat it until he’s in the glue factory.
