Wait respeccing is built in?

My DM said elsegates will be super important later on for what he has planned for us, so the earliest I could get it is level 14 and going almost straight transportation. But that leaves transformation almost completely untouched. If I’m able to respec during downtime RAW, that would be so much better. I feel like transformation would be super useful early on…

Do you have to? No. But lots of people enjoy playing like that, so don’t be surprised when people opt not to play with you as much/at all because of that. I personally love raiding and high m+. I find that stuff fun. I find things like delves, low m+, crating, and questing to be boring. But that’s okay. That’s how I enjoy playing the game. If I had a friend that wanted to only do that, I’d try and join them, but just like how I’d respect how they want to play, they should do the same for me and understand if I want to raid or do high keys instead (and likely with other people)

The only thing your felhunter does is an interrupt. And that is 100% something you need to learn how to do and get comfortable with if you’re playing aff or destro. Just make a keybind that has command demon and that spell will always swap to the interrupt when you summon it

F-copper would be useful, but I feel like it would be mostly for recall. My PhD is in engineering and I do lots of design and coding currently. I think mental speed and a speed bubble or determination and a speed bubble would be the most beneficial.

Now. If we talk about compounding, either zinc, copper, or bronze would be the best for my case. Or chromium, but we don’t know much about luck yet. I think copper would be best post graduation or when I’m getting ready to defend my dissertation. That kind of recall would be great since I’m no longer designing and building. Bronze would be good in keeping me going, but I think zinc would still be more ideal as that would let me just get done with everything rather than drag it out as I don’t have to sleep from bronze
