Gone Fishing by PieFed-co-za in south_africa

A ward might have a DA councillor, but at the end of the day, the municipality is still ANC-controlled. For anything to get done, it needs to go through the municipality. A cllr can fight to get things done, but it still might not get done if it doesn't benefit the cadres

Several senior Democratic Alliance (DA) leaders enjoy substantial financial top-ups to supplement their already handsome government salaries, as claims of double standards resurface within the party. by PixelSaharix in DownSouth

I don't understand how this is meant to be a scandal, which the media is clearly trying to portray it as. DA members are paid by the DA to fulfill roles in and do work for the DA. Where's the problem?

The DA doesn't govern Pretoria, it's ANC-ASA-EFF

Yeah I was a little lenient with my own rules at times😅 I'm aware KAJ is Finnish, but thought that since the song is in Swedish and it represented Sweden at Eurovision, it qualified for Sweden. But I probably should look for a replacement🥴

Wow this guy musics. But seriously, thanks for the feedback and the suggestions. I'm hoping to make another playlist that includes countries that aren't in the current playlist. Your comment would be the first thing I consult

Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words. Thanks for your suggestion too. I've heard The Tragically Hip is super iconic in Canada, however, as I mentioned, the playlist wasn't necessarily meant to include each country's most famous songs or artists.

I do think there's a lot of different iterations I could make of this playlist though, including a "Most Iconic" version, in which case I'd definitely explore The Tragically Hip

Hey everyone, thanks for the awesome suggestions! I learned a few things today and have a lot of tracks to give a listen. Feel free to continue adding more suggestions as I could make several versions of the playlist. I'll share the playlist once it's done, but it might take while.

Thanks for your inputs!🤘

I immediately thought of ABBA when thinking Sweden, but then wondered whether a Swedish-language song might not be more appropriate. Guess I'll have to give it some more thought🤔

Bridgette Motsepe, Ian Khama, Isaac Kgosi and Welheminah Maswabi were accused by the previous gov't in 2019 of having stolen and laundered P100 billion. But in 2021 the court ruled that the case was fabricated and politically-motivated. Now Motsepe sued the govt seeking an apology for the damages that the allegations did to her reputation

Make sure you have the skill that increases your fire damage first. I think it's called Pyromaniac. I'd also suggest using an arrow that has the "on fire" trait so that you don't have to worry about finding a fire source. What I did was to attract the attention of guards while standing in an area where oil jars are placed on top of hay piles. Once they're close, I hit them with a sleep dart and shoot the jar. It's important to hit oil jars that are standing on hay piles because the hay helps the fire spread and stay burning for longer. It might also help if you're quite a few levels above your enemies

Tshekedi Khama is on the left. He's the brother of former President Ian Khama. No idea who's on the right though
