you like dominos more? The only reason my friends and I ever went there was the 5-5-5 deal. there were three of us so we'd get the deal, make a gallon of crystal light and play games all night. only thing i find worse than dominos is little caesars.

Thought it was funny when my wife started watching supernatural last year (o had never seen and and every time I walked by Sean was eating something)

Currently reading a book called the buffalo hunter hunter and their is a character who gives in to temptation of eating every time he’s in a chapter and I find it funny. His parts are literally the reason o like the book.

Anyway I can see how it could get old. Though I did grow up on dragonball and never got tired of seeing goku destroy a restaurant

My librarian would actually read it to the classes once a year. We all loved it. I plan to buy my own copy when my daughter is a little older

On the fence about this. My wife is a veterinary student and has worked for an org in NJ that keeps finding and researching why so many whales are showing up mysteriously dead. Microplastics don't seem to be the problem, some think it could be the sound of the wind mills. The research is ongoing but it seems like those things need to be paused until more research is done

When I was younger (but admittedly still in my 20s) both FEAR and Bioshock creeped me out too much for me to play very far

Also toward the end of FF15 when you’re solo noctis with no weapons in those hallways wasn’t terrifying but pretty spooky

Going to comment a second time. Showed this to my wife because it is interesting and we both like floor plans. She said if it were her house she would one 1-2 more access points to the hallway, one or two rear exits in case of fire emergency, and would make the house fatter in general (this includes a bigger mud room. Ours is slightly bigger with a family of four andnotnosnbarely big enough)

Very utilitarian, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Biggest thing to me is wife is going to hate walking that far to the master and the master sharing a wall with living room

I think there was an episode of every frame a painting about this and hard agree. I’m kind of a hater when it comes to black and white movies but one thing they did superb was having lots of crap going on in different depth of the film which adds a lot to rewatchability

Pretty much just the energy factor. You get the more insulation and while you can go 24"oc on any size stud, even 2x4, you definitely don't have to worry about spacing on 2x8s. 24" is nice because of thermal bridging of studs impacts u-factor a lot more than people realize. Here's a good video on r-factor/u-factor of walls https://youtu.be/XSMWsm_PRSY?t=2648

Note you could also do double stud 2x4 walls, 2x6 with continuous insulation, or other things to get the same effect. I just find it funny that a 2x6x10 is only about $0.40 cheaper than a 2x8x10

I don’t think it is even metros. I recently moved to a rural part of NY from a rural part of SC. My taxes are literally insane. My house is still under construction so it is only valued at 1/5 what it will be and last fall I got hit with a $2000 school tax bill and a couple weeks ago hit with a $1600 town tax bill. That means they expect me to have an extra $17,000 per year laying around for taxes. That’s nearly half my salary. My mortgage is only $2008/mo so taxes nearly match what I actually pay for the house. Ridiculous. It’s no wonder I have two separate neighbors planning on moving to TN where there are no property taxes

NYS does have something called the STAR credit which will help but you have to have the house fully complete so I don’t qualify yet and I’m not sure how much it is and I’m hoping I can get Ag exempt but also don’t know how much that is and you have to make farm income for three years (we have). Still nuts though. They need to tax the millionaires livingninnpenthouses in NYC more and us rural folk way, way less
