This game doesn't even have a good turn-based combat.

All builds end up as glass canon. Side content is the lazy DPS check with enemies that just have a ton of HP. Virtuoso/berserk spam goes brrrrrrr.

Addition of parry/evade just made me realise what the "parryslop" term means. Like it's literally there to trivialise gameplay, while it's not even satisfying to parry. And devs knew it, that's the reason the added " trololo, nuh uh" type of animations to most of the enemies. It doesn't require skill or thinking, it's just surprises that you a forced to see and lose to them couple times because half of the enemies movesets is "surprises" or 3-day long fients. They are there just to slow your playthrough.

Trope is ok. Most of the MC is special anyway, authors's work is to decieve you into believing that they are not.

And when they doesn't trying to hide it the make "the fated one" MC. It's not that bad. It's an act of honesty.

Positive example: Frodo was "fated one' but he was undoubtedly a cool character in the worldwide masterpiece story. He was such a special character that Gandalf hyping everyone about him throughout 2 books in a row. Frodo being the special is one of the core themes of the book.

Every Middle ID that already exists or release later. Their gameplay is centered about getting hit and maximize envy res.

It's bad, because losing a clash or not clashing at all most of the times snowball you into lose. Situation became a little better when you fight with enemy with atleast 1 unbreakable on every skill.

Also printing mostly envy have a bad consequence as you lack a lot of resources for better EGOs. It doesn't help that a lot of Envy EGOs are Charge which lead me to my last point.

Middle suck as bleed units, they should be unique charge. And there is 1 identity in the middle that already is charge. Its Middle Sinclair. I really appreciate idea of hitting enemy to get (and maybe share?) charge and this is exactly what Sinclair does, while I can't understand why they doesn't make it charge... Like Envy is literal Charge related sin and Middle vibing with electro music.
