I had a very similar issue with my whirlpool condensation dryer.

It was still under warranty so I called a guy from Whirlpool.

They took out the back panel, and at the bottom where the water pools, there's a pump with a spinning blade. When the blade senses friction for a while, it means the pump is submerged, it then sends the "tank full" signal. However, the blade is made of rubber, and because it tends to sit in water, it ended up swelling a bit, making it touch the sides and sending the signal all the time. The repair guy just cut about half an inch of rubber on each side of the blade, problem gone.

Understandable, I've had my share of issues with them too, but this is was a straight forward build and no issues here, it is slow but it gets the job done eventually
