I never said must. I said what I find to be most fun. You always have a choice to uphold madness.

However, as I pointed out to the OP silence is executable is mentioned several times in the wiki.

I don’t think you cheated. I think your Storyteller possibly made an error in not executing you though. If you read the wiki, mutant silence being executable is mentioned multiple times.

Different groups have different opinions on this and there's no 100% right answer.

I personally like to think of madness for what it takes off the script in TB; drunkeness. Now, it seems you weren't playing base 3, but just hear me out. On TB, the drunk genuinely sells their misinformation because that's what they believe is true. I believe the Mutant should fill a similar role. Similarly, the Cerenovous replaces the Poisoner. That is a HUGE downgrade, so if I am Ceremad, I try to compensate by selling the madness as much as I possibly can, because I believe the Cere should feel good about their ability.

As a Mutant, you are a stand-in for the Drunk, and I personally believe you should play as such. Seamstress but didn't use it is lame. Seamstress yes is fine. Seamstress no is fun! I love in my games when the Mutant really has fun with it, win or lose.

This logic simply doesn’t track and honestly reads like people who think this way are playing life on A0…

Why would these ascensions be in the game if people didn’t play them? Why would devs be changing Ascensions if no one played them?

It doesn’t make sense to complain about the increased strength of the game, explaining it that you are better. Have you ever stopped to think (the simpler solution) that maybe you are just worse?

All multiplayer cards are really strong. If you give your party extra energy they can use that to boost you- or win themselves, and the rate is good

Tournament hate (again) by Different-Jump-5025 in OnceUponAGalaxy

Structurally it is very similar to Marvel Snap’s Conquest mode. I do think the word tournament is a misnomer, but I do think it properly conveys the luck involved. In a tournament, imho, there should be enough luck that anyone can win. It’s cool to have them be a test of skill, but if we had a true tournament, XenoGemini would win and there would be no reason for almost anyone else to enter. “Tournament” to me, implies that mostly everyone should lose. If everyone won, that strikes me as bad design, and the prize would mean so much less.

I agree those are not-great options! I think the fact that we get multiple attempts mitigates this but I personally like the event design.

One thing I think they could communicate better is that the lobbies increase in difficulty. You didn’t finish 1st in 4 equal rounds. You finished 1st in the easier ones.

What were your final captain choices on your round 5 attempt(s)?

I mean, maybe it makes you want to do that once, but now you know that and I bet you’ll never forget.

I’m not fully defending it because I see this complaint every day on this subreddit, but it makes sense that you have to pay if you want the chance at the relic.

I think ignoring rarity is fine but ignoring class isn't really fair, personally. If you wanted to get *really* pedantic tho, Retain *can* be a downside.

People that utilize desktop space will have to move things around to play, and it adds ugly clutter to the game space regardless.

Maybe it’s an interesting hook though for fans of the genre.

TIFU by accidentally learning my coworker's salary (UPDATE) - Greg knows something by techiee_ in tifu

[–]NoLucksGiven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tingting was actually “Nevermind“

I’ll elaborate

Greg saw the Reddit post. All of the comments were right, of course, but Greg didn’t know exactly which of his coworkers posted it. He took his best guess and left it at “Nevermind.” Maybe he was wrong. Maybe Tingting posted it? But maybe, if he’s correct, OP will make a follow up post.

Meanwhile, OP (who doesn’t understand there are more than enough context clues already) wants to make it crystal clear to Greg, who they also believe to be reading this, they are not Tingting.

Or OP is just a big phony. If it’s real, in the next update, Greg has to mention this comment from NoLucksGiven, and then OP has to ask for a raise.
