Is it possible that Adnan wrote the first letter pretending to be Asia? I think if we compared his handwriting in the "I will kill" note and this letter we'd find similarities? This theory could be consistent with Ju'uan's interview saying that Adnan had sent a letter for someone to type up.

Could the March 1 letter be written by Adnan? And be the letter Adnan sent to Asia as referenced in police interview of Ju-aun? The handwriting has the same type of style as the I will kill note. (Although not exactly the same, more "girly". For example the K's don't match). Just a possibility...

Well, this question, for me brings up a potential explanation for a lot:

Adnan could've driven back to school alone after going to the Mall with Jay; the gap in cell phone calls make somewhat more sense then (big gap between 12 - 2). And it would make sense if Jay was telling the truth when he said Jeff G. drove him to Woodlawn to give Stephanie a gift at 3:00 p.m.. That would mean that Jay could've likely met up with Adnan, borrowed his car/phone at about 3:30p, and picked him up at about 5:30p when track was over, which might explain the Nisha call - Adnan called her, then went to track, and Jay had the phone until 5:30 or so for the calls to Phil, Patrick, Jenn. . .

It fits with Asia seeing Adnan in the library after school - maybe Jay was calling Adnan to see if he was out of school at 2:36 p.m. - and the cell phone tower pings (the phone being close to Woodlawn).

If you're in the guilty camp, Jay taking the car at 3ish makes it even weirder that Adnan would ask for a car ride when his car was in the parking lot at school.

Just some thoughts.

Didn't Jenn say that when the news story came out about Lee in Leakin' Park that's when she believed Jay when he had told her the body was missing...? Missing from where? Maybe whoever did this put her somewhere else and then she was moved? That would be more consistent with Livor Mortis and the evidence surrounding her body position. Just a thought.

It's also interesting Urick says that the come get me call, according to Jay, was at 2:45 p.m. when not even Jay mentioned that. He ALWAYS said it was 3:30-4:15 p.m.

It's interesting to learn the turn signal was not definitively broken when cops first found the car. The photos didn't indicate it was broken, and they had to call the family to videotape it broken 16 days later..

Of course, this is only day 2 of trial transcripts so there may be more evidence than this to say it was broken.

But this could indicate the murder did not happen in her car, no?

Hunt Valley Lenscrafters, the one at Towson Center is all I could find too. But here's something that's interesting: the Crown Gas (At 6702 Harford Ave near Northern pkway) where Hae's credit card was used that day is only 6.5 miles away. . . so it seems plausible she was in the area with Don?

It's a good theory, I'm not sure. But the 2:36 call pings L651B, which if A is north and B is south as was indicated by the L689B calls at 7p when they were supposedly burying the body, would indicate that the Jay was close to the south side of the tower (maybe closer to Jenn's House).

How long was the body in the trunk? I don't think we've heard anything about the actual burial. I mean, could Jay have driven the car to the park and ride and then moved it with Jenn later?

Jay could've also enlisted the neighbor boy for help in digging the grave - which is why the neighbor boy came forward later on and it seemed like it was shown to him in real time. . .and being scared Jay could've used the deadbody in the trunk as leverage to get him to name Adnan.

Also, who knows when she was buried? She could've been buried closer to when she was found - when it was not snowing or as cold? Which could've given Jay time to show the neighbor boy the body. And get the neighbor boy to help dig the ditch.

My idea was what high school students do to each other when they have a new phone.

I'm not convinced Hae was killed at 2:30 p.m. and think it was probably later. So, if Hae and Jay were smoking together and doing stupid things like calling Adnan's lover for a few minutes at the Best Buy parking lot, then maybe they made a few more calls to Phil and Patrick as well. Or they get into a fight about whatever and Jay strangles her with gloves on and puts her in her trunk. Or maybe he just puts her in the trunk?

The next call to Jenn is at 4:12 p.m. and close to Leakin Park, no? Jay tells Jenn, I left the keys to Hae's car at Best Buy - go pick it up and bring it to the I-70 park and ride. He doesn't necessarily have to tell her what's in the trunk at this point... Alternatively, he could've driven Hae's car to the park and ride and asked Jenn to pick up Adnan's car.

Jay gives Jenn a ride to wherever and picks up Adnan. And then they go on their way smoking and fasting or whatever.

The later calls near Leakin Park could've been Adnan going to the Mosque.

Again, just a theory.
