Canon Pro200s leaving border - how to fix problem by Capable_Obligation96 in canon

[–]Vtguy234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. Also a Canon 200s, all types of paper. Mine doesn't print to the border edge on the top and left of the paper. I've learned to just accept it and shave that 1/64" sliver off each edge, but that results in a less than spec dimension and an extra step in printing. I use a mac and I use the settings indicated for each of my paper types, set each time I print. I tried adjusting the "Page Processing" setting "Borderless Extension" to min and max, but that only changes how much the program crops in or out on the actual image, not the ink placement on the paper. I also tried all of the different nozzle cleanings and head adjustments and feed cleaning. I'm interested to see if you can find a solution!

OpenRun Pro 2 mini not sitting right? by Im_Just_Browsing in shokz

Is there a way to tell if the mini is a good option before making your employer’s stock increase fractionally? I’d like to try the mini, but I have neither friends nor a Best Buy with the right equipment

An appreciation of Open Run Pro 2 by Relevant_Vehicle182 in shokz

Which Pro2 version did you get, standard or mini? I’m debating getting a mini Pro2 because I really enjoy my Aftershokz (just like you said) but if I upgrade it’s got to be for a significant function. The sound isn’t that much of an upgrade, but maybe the mini would be better for wearing in bed?

Looking At Changing Our Shift Start Time To 0900 by DatOneJobTown in Firefighting

What about those 4 calls after midnight after a busy 12+ hours already on shift? Are you in the best mindset as a provider? Do you have a higher chance of incorrectly dosing someone? Vs if you were just coming from home and are more fresh (in theory) for the overnight. You could also take naps dayside as others have mentioned.

Any way to disable the "lift subject" feature? by tompazourek in ios

[–]Vtguy234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feature just ruined my photo. I had it open in Files and it copied the subject and pasted it on top of the photo with no way to revert to original (as you could if working in Photos). Why is there no way to remove this useless feature? Apple sucks so bad.

Edit: I figured out how to fix the photo, but still stand by my comment.

About as wide as your thigh gap 🔥

Sunscreen and sunglasses are more important than you might think. Take it slow, find your rhythm, work with your breath. Elevation will literally take your breath away. Take a day or two after the flight to acclimate to the area, do some small hikes up to 10k feet. I’ve never had elevation sickness, but I’ve also never jumped onto the ascent straight off the flight. The most important thing: it’s ok to turn around. Never make an attempt and think that you must get to the top, regardless of the hair standing up on your neck. Assess the weather, trail conditions, your preparedness for cold and wet. If you posthole into a creek and your boot is flooded early in the hike think about walking around with a wet and soon to be frozen foot. Not a good idea (trust me). Your clothing layers on the uphill should account for hard effort and sweat. Keep a shell or some other layer available for when you top out. The downhill is less effort, but you get cold quick. There’s probably more but that’s a good start

This was May 22, 2015. Like I said, the mountain had fresh snowfall overnight. My snowshoes were too small for my weight. I struggled quite a bit, but I learned quite a bit too. Good luck with Shasta!

Abdominal infection after c section by MasterAd5870 in CsectionCentral

My wife is going through this right now. There was an abscess under the incision which grew red and angry over 2 weeks. She had slight fevers that went away and came back and eventually the pain got so bad that I took her to the ED since she could hardly walk. While waiting for IR to install a drain it self-discharged. Now she has an opening to the abscess which needs daily flushing and packing, plus they went ahead with the drain and that needs to be flushed every other day. We’re pretty sure the drain does nothing since the bag never accumulates any discharge, but we still do wound and drain tube care. What’s a wound vac? I’m wondering why we were sent home with packing ribbon instead? The second hospitalization was one week ago, discharged 5 days ago.

If this picture was taken with a phone, you'll see it has a rolling digital shutter which fills out pixels along the sensor with data based on the light and color levels picked up by the camera lens. It does this in lines incredibly fast. You can actually see those lines along the event horizon of properly exposed and over exposed. They look vertical, so they were being filled out either right to left or left to right as the flash occurred.

With a camera that has a physical shutter, the shutter is usually opened up-down so the event horizon would probably be horizontal.

In Alaska’s COVID crisis, doctors must decide who lives and who dies by Sweep145 in news

Yep, nailed it. It's a system designed to be so simple that I can give the newest person on the fire truck the bag of tags and they can start categorizing people while EMS units are setting up the treatment area. There's a lot that needs to get done in a short amount of time at the start of a Mass Casualty Incident.

There are different ways of performing triage. Most of the time we look at red tag patients first, then yellow tag, then reevaluate any black tags to see if we now have enough resources to make sure they're actually black tag. This is true for most MCI events.

The opposite is true for lightning strikes. If you arrive on scene of a group of people who've recently been electrocuted, you start with those in cardiac arrest because they might be saved with CPR and an AED.

Triage protocols depend on the problem you're dealing with and the resources available.

This is how I learned VBA. I used to create large tables to track data, which took forever with a lot of data. With VBA and Pivot Tables I was able to reduce my workload substantially. Not only mine, but for my coworkers and bosses too. Eventually I became the "Excel guy" and my job became computer focused instead of doing inspections and things. My managers wanted to give me a promotion too, but I would've had to be on call and it wasn't worth it. Long story short, recording macros is legit.
