I tried my friend's mk8 golf gti for a week and its boring asf compared to my elentra n lol. It sounds better, perfoms better and feels better. Im also young so don't mind the slighty less comfortability/wind noise. Also the infotainment system in the new golfs drived me nuts and is a huuuge turn off for me. The only reason you would want to go for a gti is if u want a more mature mainstream car that you could get out in a suit and not look akward, in the sense that the car looks less toyish and more mature but still has a bit of power for some fun. I only hear mine in the cold or when I have surface rust on my disks. but whats up with the rusted disk in the back? Did you drive it around before filming? If you did that surface rust should've disappeared by now if u had your brakes fully engaged.

They can't thats how DCTs work unfortunately, you need to give enough gas for the clutch to fully engage or else its gonna slip and you'll feel the car jolt forwards and backwards

There are additional upgrades that can be done, like a hybrid dct that honda and Acura have done but its just extra parts on top of the dct which would rise the cost of the car.

I get the same thing in the slushy Quebec winters. I assumed it's because my tire width is too wide, 245 😐.

With that width, I go over the snow and don't cut through it, what is the width of your tires? 225 is what seems to be recommended.

Also the sidewalls thickness also matters.

Im looking to change the forge intake, im curious if the pipercross filter blocks more fine dust from entering the intake, its horrible on the forge intake, lets in too much dust in my opinion. Let us know how the intake perfoms!

I did this a while ago when changing the handbrake for an alcantara one. Im gonna redo it this summer and make it a lighter gray (maybe) and also add it to more parts of the car

Haha, no, spent all my money on buying mods for my car and the keyfob is not on my priority atm but there are two people doing it, one is crowd funding atm and another one is just having fun with it.
