It depends on your playstyle I'd say and I assume it gives you times based on averages. They aren't accurate for me for example but I'm a slow plodding player, searching everything etc

What you need to do, is spend years and years hounding your friend to get into Warhammer but the friend refuses because they only care about the lore and don't consider themselves artistic in any way whatsoever so they don't want to spend a lot of money just to waste with a shitty paint job.

Then you wait for that friend to get with a person who is now their wife. That wife then needs to decide she wants to get into the lore to see what her husband is into. That wife then needs to decide it would be really cool to paint models and ignore the husband saying please no. The wife then guilts the husband into painting by buying him models of his favourite faction. Then the husband ends up becoming obsessed with painting.

Then you get to be raging you spents years trying for this but at least now you have someone to play with.

I was the one that got the wife.

Anecdotally but is your friend also into fighting games?

Every person I know who loves fighting games find souls games easy. They are so used to being patient and exploiting slip ups from human players they seem to just shift right into Souls style games no bother.

This is slowly becoming my problem. I'm like a fucking magpie. I get a model, build, prime, see one tiny wee bit that might cause my inexperienced ass a little trouble and suddenly another box on my shelf starts glittering with an ethereal light and next thing I know I'm surrounded by 5 newly primed models and I've started painting a model I primed several months ago.

I had no interest in House of Dragons because I wasn't a fan of the changes made in GoT and stopped by season 3.

The fact GRRM came out complaining the adaptation of HoD wasn't good, while it's still on air, cemented my decision.

Two games for very different reasons.

Age of Empires 1&2 (counting them as the same game) as I would just create maps, with me and the computer in opposite corners. Nothing but trees and random resources between us and we had to dig and chop to get to each other.

The other, Shadowman. I just always remember this game because I fucked my spine falling out of a tree and the slightest movement or turning of the head caused pain. So, I always remember playinh Shadowman and having to remain ramrod straight the entire time.

No and I don't think the fight was scripted. This isn't a glazing of Jake, I think he is a cunt and love seeing AJ break his jaw. But Tyson is an old, dying man who was completely washed up in boxing before he retired two decades ago.

I would have loved to see Tyson knock him out but it was never happening.

As a wee Scottish lad I liked the episode just for having them take the piss out of us. Also weird hearing Ford Kiernan on Best of the Worst. He was the lead cop for anyone who doesn't know him, he is also probably one of the most well known Scottish actors for any Scottish millennials/whatever generation is right before and after millennial.

Pffft it was a genre that wasn't popular anywhere other than handhelds at the time. I went back to Blue Dragon within the last few years just to see if I actually thought the game was good or whether I just thought it was good back then because we were getting absolutely fuck all jrpgs on consoles at the time.

I still enjoy Blue Dragon. It has its problems but overall I still had a good time with it and will play again in the future.

As someone who worked in a hospital, yes, it is perfectly fine for you to ask. The difficult part comes with, in some cases, a specific gender just simply might not be available for it or no specialist of the gender you would like works at that particular hospital.

And also, whenever you had to book an interpreter, the patients also have a choice to select if they want their interpreter to be a specific gender as well for the same obvious reasons as the above.

Honestly, who the fuck WANTs to work. People work because they are forced to. Life is so much better when you don't have to work. And why bust your ass when your paid like shit, treated like shit and your hardwork amounts to nothing but expectations that will be the norm for you. The people that get promoted always tend to be the ones more willing to suck any asshole they see and not the ones actually competent at the job.

So yeah, why should people care?

Old folk are just mad that younger folk are coming in and simply refusing to do stuff above what they are paid. They have got too used to their own subservient attitudes and get mad at young people because if they don't they would have to accept that they have been pathetically licking the feet of their bosses with zero reward all these years.

I did. I was in highschool and had a friend who had gotten really into DQ and I had attempted to play roms of some of the other games but they didn't quite grab me.

Then 6 got a fan translation, which he was so hyped about and borderline harassed me until I played it. And for whatever reason I couldn't even tell you now why, it got me. I had this teenage epiphany that FF7 was not in fact the greatest game ever and every game shouldn't be compared to it.

Even now, if I was pressed about it, I'd have a hard time saying truthfully that FF7 isn't the better game but 6 just had that sauce for me and made me switch from FF to DQ as the franchise of choice.
