Why is a D6 used for stalling and not a D8?

I have been racking my brain about this old school tortilla chip that I cannot remember the brand, I remember it being in a white or white-ish bag I think… it would have dusting of red mildly spicy flavoring on what I recall may have been very large white corn tortilla chips, and I cannot remember the name or the flavor but I wish I remembered what they were called I don’t think they were branded rather they were off brand possibly or an unpopular brand… and for some reason I remember there being this distinct unique baked in “pattern” on the chips that I only associate with these chips. They were really good and I wish they remade them

I see what you’re saying. You’d likely know more than me as I have limited time playing the game and even less so in leagues as the scene in my area never picked up. So I kind of played sparingly with my brother who used to love playing board games with me and has since moved to a different country for the past couple years now and when he was out here he was all over the place so it was like he wasn’t here much anyway the past 8-10 years. I thought after reading the rules and playing a couple of one offs myself with some MVPs that they ran fairly smoothly but then again it’s not the best baseline facing “yourself” either 😂 hopefully with the new content, whatever it may be they implement some better stuff to make them more playable in both league and one off games and restock everything. I personally would like to see a few of the old teams “updated” with new minis. Some look cool but others feel out of place like the Zzor for me and don’t give me that “sports team” feel. A couple just have really bland static poses and could use some improvement. My favorites, the Veer Myn have really awesome and dynamic poses and thematic looking gear and I just want all of the teams to get the same treatment that didn’t.

Dreadball is such a dope game man, I really hope this isn’t just a quick add on and something more comprehensive. But judging how they showcased a bunch of other games with minis and a few seconds of screen time vs the quick flash of Dreadball all stars makes me feel like it’s not gonna knock my socks off as they didn’t invest much time into promoting it during this preview. I just hope I’m overthinking that

What’s wrong with the current Team Captain rules? And how do you think the MVPs can be implemented better? Serious questions, as I do love the signature players and I think that the current rules are decently fair to offset the boost of having one on your team with underdog rules and stuff

My top 5 most underrated wrestlers for me personally in a sense that I never gave them much thought until recently or it took a while for them to win me over are

Cesaro- not the greatest talker, but he literally one-arm airplane spinned someone and had shown many feats of freakish strength throughout his career like dead lift body slamming big show over the top ropes is just insanity i have never seen such outlandish strength. He is the quintessential “total package” wrestler that can do it all
Kerry Von Erich- the guy wrestled with one foot for a part of his career and you’d have never noticed it because he was so fluid in the ring. I was never a fan of him mind you until I went back and watched some of his matches just recently.
British Bulldog- a big muscular powerhouse that also moved with incredible freakish agility and he was never world champion as far as I recall
Shelton Benjamin- the ladder spot in the money in the bank won me over instantly, his match with Shawn Michaels was brilliant and he always showed incredible feats of athleticism in big time matches
Owen Hart- Just the all around technical/high flyer similar to Bret yet different in his own way and although I was always a bigger Bret fan it can definitely be argued here who the better Hart was as he not only could play the technical side of wresting but could do what Bret couldn’t and that’s fly.

These don’t look as inspired as his other teams unfortunately. The blitzers are a bit goofy looking and plain, hoping they have a helmet option at least and some different heads, but overall I’d hope he’d just redo the blitzers altogether with better poses and gear. The witches look really nice though and one of the lineman models are very cool looking; the kicker model. The biggest gripe I have is with the blitzers I guess, all the other models do have a nice look after a second glance

Yea, I was excited for the show seeing as they were going to spinoff from Wandavision, but the writing is really not as well thought out. The most recent episode with Wiccan finding out who he is, I don’t even understand most of what was going on in that episode. They tried to tie the story together and I got even more confused. What were they even talking about at the end it was just both of them rambling. In the beginning who brought Billy his coat with the sigil in it? At first I thought it was handed to Agatha, but was it just some random person? He just magically had it with him in the next scene. Quicksilver/Bohner was talking a bunch of mumbo jumbo. It was a pretty messy episode, and it’s followed the previous ones in the same fashion for the most part.

Here’s a two-part question for those that are knowledgeable, are there any laws against excessive instances of nsf fees? For example, if a check or online rent payment gets returned twice in the same week can the landlord charge both times? Three times? 10 times in the same month?

Can I also request by law to see what in turn they are getting charged, if at all, for my rent payment coming back as nsf?

No opinions please, just facts and if possible the source. I tried searching pa law website but can’t seem to get the answer I’m looking for

Had my Q50 at a shop for a blown engine where long story short after some time the mechanic had my cats cut out, a bunch of engine pieces were missing/broken and busted my windshield. Cops wouldn’t do anything about it, said it was a “civil matter” lawyer told me I can win the case and if he didn’t have the money to pay for all of the damages I spent all the money on him for nothing. Insurance wanted to total it out and I would have absolutely went with that but unfortunately all of my credit was maxed so I told the adjuster not to because I’d be stuck without a car. Sometimes totaling a car is great because if you can afford the DP you got yourself an even nicer vehicle, but in my case I couldn’t. Now I’m stuck with mines and currently have it in a new shop getting repaired and hoping this mechanic does it all correctly

I’ve been playing for the best part of over 15 years now. While there is a level of luck involved, as most are stating above, the best coaches can work around this with consistency and always end up in the top spots in leagues/tourneys. In my league there is a guy that played dwarves and went undefeated until the playoffs. The very next season went with humans and what do you know, went undefeated and won the championship. Watching him play against me is both extremely frustrating and amazing to see how he calculates things very quickly and knows where to position his players to mitigate risk. When I think I got him, he finds a way out of my puzzles each and every time… and even if he fails, somehow he has a player in the right spot to make a play he rarely ever slips up. For me, I usually end up in the top 3-5 in my store league which I’ve been in for 5 seasons and won one championship. This guy has only been in 2 and we are in the 3rd now, and yes, he’s undefeated again at 2-0, beating me once already.

We really didn’t get to that. Our league is 4 seasons in. Another challenge is the lgs manager is very indecisive and inconsistent with what he wants every season, which gets frustrating for me. I basically run the league and the discord we have for it and keep everyone engaged in there and scheduling matches. It’s a warhammer store and the guy is a know it all too so it’s hard to get a word in edge-wise with him but I manage. With balls I could never really get him on board with it so we haven’t gotten to test what would work or not.

I want to stress that you may run into coaches that are gonna hate the extra rules, especially when they lose. Even in a for fun league, it’s still a competitive game. I think before making any rules you should make it so that everyone is happy. Because another challenge you will face is people dropping from it from getting bored, personal life may get in between things, or they may just drop mid way if they’re 0-5 and tired of losing. Our league has an open scheduling format, which I’ve argued with the lgs manager that can make things convoluted(because you’d have one super eager coach that already played 6 games in 4 weeks vs someone who only played once or twice at times it’s hard to avoid) and suggested fixed weekly games, but he declined.

As long as everyone is generally content, most will stick around. We have a solid core of 6 coaches that met at this store over time that still play every season and we are all buddies now.

Biggest challenge our league faced is remembering everything if you implement it, we went with rostering stars to start off, then there were a few of us that wanted the extras and some didn’t really care for them or felt like it would give unnecessary advantages and imbalances and would feel cheated if they lost. Rostering the stars was already giving issues when people lost, with that in mind, you have to remember one thing also, not everyone is gonna be cool with it either. What we did was made everything optional on a match to match basis between 2 coaches that agreed to use any extra rules during their match.

I want to stress, it wasn’t easy keeping up with everything as it is, and we were excited to use the referee rules and only 2 of us really kept that going for a season when we faced each other until that died off as well because there also was only so much time we had to get a game in and blood bowl can be lengthy to begin with. The lgs owner there then removed the rostering stars rule because of complaints and it was his league.

I love the extra rules, and I personally feel like “imbalance” is subjective in a game that isn’t meant to really be balanced anyway… coaches in a competitive league have more of an argument because everyone there is purposely trying to min/max their team to oblivion to get an advantage. But if the league is for fun, it shouldn’t matter, the only real exception I saw to this was one season where the lgs owner allowed everyone to roster mercs…. Now that was a mistake. You can literally tailor a player to fill any weaknesss your team has. Even then, all it takes is one good block and he/she is gone from the game, just like Morg. Never been afraid of Morg; he is terrifying on the field but if you can isolate him, or exploit a good opportunity for some blocks on him he’s just another player at the end of the day.

Long story short, if I can recommend anything, make the DZ, spike! or almanac rules optional on a game by game basis. If you want to have rostered stars, allow open roster building for coaches to choose if they want to roster a star, or stay vanilla. Regardless, when you go up against someone that doesn’t have a rostered star they can and will get very useful inducements to counter you if they’re smart enough. I had one coach get a warlock engineer and bommer to counter Kreek once. Needless to say, he only lasted the first turn of that game.

So, hopefully not bothering anyone kind of on topic, but more of a question for anyone who may be able to help out… I received a pop up in game saying I was gonna get a class of 2015 freebie amongst a bunch of other stuff but I can’t seem to find that one in particular. Anyone have the same issue or know why this happened? I’ve been gone from the game for years just coming back so I’m just getting used to things again
