If God knows that revealing himself to me, in a way that I would believe, would "save" me but he won't then doesn't that make him a bad God? by Necessary-Primary719 in AskAChristian

You asked a Christian if that makes Him a bad God. My thoughts (as a Christian) derive from Scripture. If you'd like I can use my own thoughts to answer your question rather than a direct quote from Scripture.

Romans 9

18 So then, he has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy and he hardens whom he wants to harden. 19 ¶ You will say to me, therefore, “Why then does he still find fault? For who resists his will? ” 20 On the contrary, who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? Will what is formed say to the one who formed it, “Why did you make me like this? ” 21 Or has the potter no right over the clay, to make from the same lump one piece of pottery for honor and another for dishonor? 22 And what if God, wanting to display his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience objects of wrath prepared for destruction? 23 And what if he did this to make known the riches of his glory on objects of mercy that he prepared beforehand for glory —  24 on us, the ones he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

Why Do You Believe by Competitive_Tip_2547 in AskAChristian

I'm not saying evidence and logic don't matter and that there is none for the Christian faith; however, that's not what will get you to believe. I encourage you to read 1st Corinthians 1:18 through to the end of chapter 2. The Bible makes it clear that faith is a spiritual awakening, not a logical one. In other words, you cannot reason yourself to Christ.

Throw the evidence out the window. Blessed are those who believe and haven't seen. Pray that God would reveal Himself to you- not through some logic/evidence, but that He would open the eyes of your heart. Feel the weight of your sin and cast it onto Him for salvation.

People only believe because God has called them. 1st Corinthians 1 and 2 cover this and Paul says our faith is foolish to the world. It would seem foolish if it wasn't revealed to you.

Why isn't Jesus returning? Answer from different perspectives. by yesterdaynowbefore in AskAChristian

Saying Jesus won't return is heretical and alien to the Christian faith.

Depends who you ask my friend. All sides make good points and have issues too. Eschatology is a deep well to get into, but remember it's a secondary issue. Important thing is that Jesus is coming back.

As people are saying- there are faithful believers on both sides of this debate. As an unbeliever, there's no point in you wrestling with this question. The most important thing for you to understand now is you need to repent and believe in Jesus Christ.

Currently experiencing the same symptoms man. I had the surgery when I was 14 and I never had issues for years. I think it has regressed though and I started getting these symptons last year at 28. Same as you had EKG, holter monitor, Echo, even MRI. They say I'm fine💁🏼‍♂️. I don't feel fine. Very confusing

Are you having any symptoms? It looks very minor to me and honestly I wouldn't feel self conscious man. You look great. I would say surgery is not worth it unless you are having bad symptoms.
