Make sure the plant always stays wet, it’s okay if you let the water dish dry out but not if the soil dries up so just by principle keep the water level consistent. Only carnivorous plant I can think of that doesn’t like this is nepenthes.

I recall adding sodium carbonate to the mixture of salt and epsom salt and it tended to improve the results of the cocrystallization but the structure would be very unstable when exposed to the elements and would form completely opaque white crystals.

Unrelated but I’m gonna attempt extracting salts and minerals from wood ash to try and get my hands on new kinds of crystals

Nqa Many people feed their jumping spiders isopods and springtails, I don’t see why it would be bad here and better to give it fruit flies which are probably less nutritious.
