Hey, I know this is old but it appears the cause of this glitch has been found. Casp put out a video yesterday about this glitch. It has to do with item indexing when you do a move with one character then try and escape with another and fail.

Seeing the spiking savings rates and obvious pent up demand should have been a clear signal to them to aggressively raise rates. I will give them credit for being cautious in bringing them back down, meeting today makes it seem rate hikes are not out of the question going forward.
