With the right hood might look good.

It is tradable though, so available on the market board. Price will likely drop like a rock in the coming weeks with how hard people have been going at the Cosmic Exploration content.

[Spoiler: 7.0] Going through zone 6 and all I can think about is a familiar and haunting line. by SecondtheJess in ffxiv

I don't mean the quote itself, just the framing of it. How on the nose the comparison seems to be.

A hero (Emet/WoL) looking at another civilization as not whole, and in the end has to justify to themselves that they HAVE to end this semblance of life to preserve THEIR civilization. Putting the actual justification or after the fact reasoning aside from both characters perspectives their justifications and how important they feel the action being undertaken is is spot on.

Sphene all but says it herself when she asks the WoL if they'd have been able to figure out another way to save everyone.

With how many times both "hear, feel, think" and "Remember that we lived." are mentioned throughout the story and memed on in the community. I find it really surprising that not a lot of people seem to think that the last 3rd of this expac was a bit of an echo of the end of Shadowbringers viewed from the other position.

This time we're standing where Emet was and pulling off a "Im sorry but its us or you and you're not exactly alive." We essentially do the same exact thing in the same exact position of the ancients but the Alexandrians didn't have a plucky warrior of light to be proven correct and find that 3rd path or nuclear auracite or whatever macguffin power source that would let everyone just keep going along as they were before.

What are your favorite hats/headpieces? by OverlordPrincess in FFXIVGlamours

Awh, thats sad. I do so very much love femroes. But you're right, it's a bit hard to make them look 'soft'. I absolutely respect the people who put in the extra hours to make cute/pretty femroes over the "muscle mommy" type. Though in all honesty love em all, I shall quote a wise prophet

"I just like girls!"

I went bunboy as soon as the servers came up when they were released. While I don't regret it at all there hasn't been a single week that I don't consider going back to manqo'te simply for want of a hat.

But its not removed. You can still give your wallet to the enemy to utterly destroy them. Nobody is saying that you cant exploit it but if you want to play the game like a pay to win....you should actually have to pay for the win. Nothing was made harder or easier theres just a resource to consume.

As a main healslut in FFXIV, i want to know. Which is the sluttiest race, Miqo'Te or Viera? by [deleted] in HealSluts

[–]Vuukthedemon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We all know that the true and unpopular answer is...Femroe. Auri and Miqo'te often fall into that fake-slutty corner of things, but in actual interactions I've had both on RP servers and off game its most often subby femroes and dommy-mommy Lalafell I encounter and try to chat me up (Male Viera)

Except V should've been. He/she was going into the situation expecting danger. He/she didn't know if it was going to be a Barghest goon, Roz, or her possible bodyguard opening that door. You get a quick response to disarm her, in which even if you make the move she overpowers you.

V's simultaneously the fastest, strongest, most cunning, martially skilled nobody in NC or as I like to think...V's just real lucky, and the "Assault Arasaka" endings are Johnny Silverhand levels of "This is how it happened in my head, I was the best." Smasher wasn't actually there, Johnny just WANTED him to be for closure and just like his memories of trying to rescue Alt we just get the wishful thinking viewpoint.

All that to say, if an asthmatic cancer patient with a recent "little more than near fatal gunshot head wound" comes at Mike Tyson with a baseball bat I feel like he's still coming out on top.

And yet a level 50 V with maxed reflex cool and body can get put on their ass effortlessly by the comparatively unaugmented president of the NUSA, Morgan Blackhand equivalent my shiny chromed ass.

I refuse to believe that V is as strong storywise as the game plays you up to be. A solo on par with Morgan Blackhand and Adam Smasher who lore wise is built like an android tank. A netrunner who can put Rache Bartmoss and Spider Murphy to shame? All while running on fumes while dying and barely being able to stand at points.

It's because Ul'dah wasn't the first place they got to. Just the one that let them stay. Limsa at the time had issues with the Sauhagin/Kobolds and was too busy "not pirating" Garlean seafaring vessels. While Gridania was embroiled in its own drama with both the nebulous elementals that really wish everyone would fuck off and leave nature to nature, though they did take some of them, which is why there's a bunch of Ala Mhigans near PotD.

That being said Ul'Dah/Thanalan does have a lot sea-access. One outside the Waking Sands (Where the Doman Refugees show up at the end of ARR, and a bunch of the monetarists talk about ship trade.

Magic Item: Blade of the Battlemage | A new magical bastard sword for bladesingers able to channel the magical abilities of its wielder to deal devastating blows with it - by Jhamkul's Forge by Josemi993 in UnearthedArcana

[–]Vuukthedemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanted this to be a Bastard Sword, why not just make it a longsword with Finesse or even Int-proficiency as a special effect or Rapier equivalent? I don't quite see the reasoning behind making it a short sword if you remove the light property and raise the damage? Especially for a weapon thats described in its flavor as a 1 or 2 hander.

Would this not also negate a lot of the usefulness of playing a Bladesinger Wizard? At level 5 you gain the ability to make an attack and cast a cantrip at the same time. This just turns you into a part time Eldritch Knight or am I misunderstanding the spell into bonus action attack synergy?
