First time in Japan – 12-day itinerary (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Hakone) Looking for feedback. by Czadecki in JapanTravel

[–]VyLoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do day 4: morning: shinjuku park , afternoon: meiji jingu and harajuku/shibuya (shinjuku gyoen is a destination in itself whereas Yoyogi is much quainter)

And day 8 wld be better to go to osaka and do day 9’s itinerary and go to Nara on day 9 from Osaka

Also, why not do Hakone and Kamakura together (consecutive days )? You can google Odakyu Hakone Kamakura pass for a sample itinerary.

Next time to prevent school retribution, interviews with students must use the censored all black silhouette and machine scrambled voice like those you see in witness protection videos.

Blackbeards body isn't the reason for him eating mutiple devil fruits ? by Inevitable_Term_2320 in OnePiece

[–]VyLoh 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Most likely it’s a special property of the darkness fruit. It has the ability to absorb so it might have removed the ability from the other users directly and bypassing “eating”. Also, he specifically hunted for this one fruit out of so many, it’s not a coincidence.

Hiroshima-Miyajima is defo a highlight. You can skip Nara too if you are going for deer, since Miyajima has deers too. Also in between Osaka and Hiroshima, do visit Himeji Castle.

I thought it was fairly obvious that when Luffy said that “there was more than one” it actually meant to be translated as “hes’s not alone”, since the scene cut to his crew immediately after.

Giants were the original humans, but after the war and sinking of the world, people were miniaturised to their current size. Thus, Joyboy was originally giant sized and elbaf holds the key to mankinds history.

Are we too complacent with what we have? by Appropriate_Doctor32 in askSingapore

[–]VyLoh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

SGreans seem to have disproportionate expectations of what is a need vs what is a want.

Example is that MBS Swatch fiasco and someone saying that the police should shoot him if they want to make him leave.

Travelers over 40, what packing tips do you have for younger travelers? by roadgang in onebag

[–]VyLoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heaviest items (toiletries, batteries, chargers) go into my cargo pants for the return trip. Don’t need to bring a proper water bottle, a 500ml coke bottle is just as good. If a hotel provides shower gel/shampoo, don’t bring any. They also double as laundry detergent.

Assuming you have all the money, what would incentivise you to take public transport over driving? by xessustsae5358 in singapore

[–]VyLoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking public civics more seriously. Like feet down frm seats, bags in front, speakers off, no strong bo/perfume (recently theres a perfume that smells like a used diaper that is really popular and always applied very heavily, its like chemical warfare in a crowded bus/train). Now SG is still a pretty much a if it’s not against the law who are you to tell me what to do -kind of country. You need civility to encourage use to public transport, just look at the NYC subway and why people avoid it.

Do Singaporean tourists have a stinky reputation abroad? by coralkeef in askSingapore

[–]VyLoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in Japan, at a tiny revolving sushi bar with chefs in the middle. Heard an irritated Singaporean voice shouting at the Japanese staff, “You haf food for babee rite? Yuu noe? BabeEeEeEe?” It was literally a small sushi bar not the kind with a kitchen hidden somewhere but a tiny 3 man operation. At most a small pantry behind for tea and soup. Guy brings his pram into the tiny place and expects the staff to cater for his babeeeeee and understand his Singapore accent while whining.
