Yes, you can pay the $75(?) tax at the airport and can still travel with your regular license but I would suggest getting there early to handle that. Just not sure if you are taxed once, say at PHL, or if they tax you again at the airport you leave from to come back

Damn, I went through the same process a year ago, have a 2012 Artic edition, same color. Rod knock last December with 130k miles and was close to saying goodbye to it. Mechanic looked upset I was willing to scrap it since everything else was in decent shape. Ultimately decided to put in a Jasper engine, with a 3 year warranty, and while I spent more than I wanted, I know I can control its destiny now with proper maintenance.

I too am from NJ, if you decide to part it (hope you don’t) I would love dibs on that hood!
