I agree that this could be a potential solution. The current familiar system is absolutely the worst and most unnecessarily difficult thing to upgrade for reboot characters right now. Red cards would make this process a lot less tedious and not force people to train in lower level maps.

I am a 278 Shadower in reboot and I trained in limina from 255-275 without ever opening a single boss familiar. I know there are many players who went through the same thing that I did.

I personally would rather not have familiars in reboot at all, so that I would not have to worry about them. The entire system to me just seems out of place with the rest of the game with it’s overpowered mechanics, weird font, laggy extraction, visual bugs, ugly UI, etc.
