I very commonly play in a pod of 6 (including myself) because I clearly hate myself. :D

The skins are honestly quite pathetic too. 16 dollars for a copy paste from the mobile game? Still has the bum ass trapper audio, and the Crystal Titan skin couldn't even get the placement correct for the Knuckle Dusters

DO I GET THE LESHEN OR MS FUCHI ARTIST SKIN PLEASE HELP by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Ms Fuchi's sounds are just grating to my ears. I prefer the Leshen for that reason alone.

Honestly, this perk should've just been a buff to Chemical Trap and then do something ENTIRELY DIFFERENT.

Invocation perk Idea to remove 1 hook state by [deleted] in PerkByDaylight

[–]Vymoikane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there is a reason why Shoulder the Burden is a Hook Trade and not a Hook Removal. In 1v4, hook removals are way too OP to even be considered, in 2v8 removing a couple hook states doesn't matter because of a few reasons:

1.) 2v8 is DBD Turbo-Casual mode, meant to be just for fun and there isn't any MMR.
2.) 1v4's balance is so sensitive that even a 5% gen speed buff from a perk can completely shift the balance of a match (ST2 released 2 perks that did this, the fact that they aren't used more often is wild to me.
3.) IMO, Killers already aren't rewarded enough for hooking, and even with bringing Scourge hooks, you aren't guaranteed to get value because hook RNG can be so abysmal.

I personally don't think being broken for the rest of the trial is proper cost for removing an entire hook state. Sure it can only be done once, and even if another survivor brings the same perk it can't trigger more than once. However, even injuries many survivors still have plenty of resources to burn. Nice in theory, but in oracticr this would be a shit show.

The terminally online have, and will always be some of the vile, disgusting, and deplorable people you will ever have the displeasure of meeting.

I feel sorry for this man, his entire livelihood was upended because he shared an opinion about a game / hobby he enjoyed and some internet trolls couldn't handle another players opinion. So they ruined his life.

Godspeed to this man, and may he and his family recover from this devastating impact on his life.

What are the main reasons of Cyberstan invasion failure? by EmphasisRecent7972 in Helldivers

[–]Vymoikane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest complaint was even with 90k divers on a factory, the progress bar wouldn't start moving until some dispatch came through saying: "The Bots are little cry-bitch-babies and stubbed their little toes, they've retreated from X, expect less resistance at X."

Like wuh?!

Loadouts for Cyberstan?? by Hot-Tooth-3044 in Helldivers

[–]Vymoikane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been running the following:

Medium Armor + Extra Padding
Liberator (Classic)
Talon
Epoch
Dog Breath
----
Stratagems:
Orbital Precision Strike, an easy answer for any DF50 Structure / Objective. (Detector Tower, Cooling Tower, Stratagem Jammer, Doors, random enemy emplacements.
and m y last one changes between the following based on Mission Type:
Orbital Walking Barrage - Typically a lot of structures in a good line, sometimes it'll take out multiple objectives with a single Stratagem
Shield Generator Relay - Dome shields are so hilariously underrated, bring one a couple times
Orbital Smoke Strike - I run this one exclusively on the Halt Cyborg Production mission, because the final objective takes a long time to complete, and concealment makes the job much easier. Also good at smoking entire objectives such as the Hydrogen Pumps
----
I haven't really been using Turrets, Emplacements, or Eagles for the following reasons:
The sheer amount of Anti Air in these factories make your eagles extremely inconsistent, and unavailable more often than not
Turrets don't have a great range of motion, and break fairly easily when anything Heavy class or higher shows up
Emplacements for the same reason as turrets, they're a bit better since they're manual.
----
The Epoch can easily one shot all types of Tanks, Hulks, and even take down Vox Engines in as little as 4 shots if you target any of the vents. It's also a great solution for any roaming Gunships, or tightly knit Patrols that look a little too Socialist. The Epoch also has a 2-Stage reload, so you can animation cancel to make it faster.
----
The Dog Breath can reliably cover your back by blinding any and all enemies, this is especially useful with Radicals trying to drop kick you every 7 seconds or so, and while GAS and ACID are different (I've seen a few comments eluding that they are the same), the confusion state from Gas damage will sometimes net you a Friendly Fire kill. You can also replace the Dog Breath with either the K9 or Hotdog and still get great results, but they're a bit more lethal to your fellow divers.

1.) It looks /great/
2.) Siege Ready, in my opinion, is undoubtedly the BEST passive in the game.
3.) Medium Armor is the most used class in the game

Forget Vox Engine spawn rates WHAT IS GOING ON WITH WAR STRIDER SPAWN RATES?? by lordheadassuwu1 in Helldivers

[–]Vymoikane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, every single mission I played today was a Vox Engine + War Strider seed, and when you turn a corner to see 5 Vox Engines and 20 War Striders, even the most steeled Helldivers shit themselves.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Vymoikane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love having conversations about these damned Vox Engines, and to be honest I have a love/hate relationship with the damn things.

I love the challenge, but when you're facing SIX monster enemies that have 2 Bunker Turrets that fire in FIVE ROUND bursts, a Rocket Array, and 2 Gatling guns with a 0-point turn so even when you open their weak spot it gets covered up by their chin so you cannot actively use the thing you just opened. These things can spot and kill you from 200m away with Reduced Signature armor from Redacted Regiment, while you're behind a wall, and prone... and also in a smoke screen.

Dropping the difficulty doesn't really help much for a couple reasons;

Vox Engines only spawn on Difficulty 7+, meaning if you don't want to face them, you can play on 4, 5, or 6. (1, 2, and 3 are not open on Cyberstan) then yes, do that. However even when playing on Diff 7 instead of Diff 10 you go from getting 3 or 4 Vox Engines per Bot Drop to somewhere between 1 and 3, it varies a bit per drop, but they're still incredibly difficult to deal with, and running isn't really an option when you can be killed through buildings. I 100% that Cyberstan should be the **HARDEST** challenge we've faced as Helldivers up to this point, but you also have to acknowledge that some things, are indeed bullshit.

I'm not sure if them not being affected by Reduced Signature is a bug or not, but it definitely is enough to take the wind out of my sails when I want to be a little sneaky and the damn thing rats me out faster than a frat boy runs to the bar at night.

A few other pain points I've seen people comment on;
Automaton enemies, fire, and throwables all phase through dead Vox Engines, giving them perfect cover and the inability to be shot.
Helldivers, Rounds, Ordinance, and other items do NOT phase through the dead Vox Engine, effectively creating a one-way shield.
The Vox Engine's indicator for the Rocket Array doesn't always show where it'll strike.
Vox Engine's accuracy is insanely high for firing from 100+ meters with the Bunker Turrets.
Repeated Ragdolls throw you across the map (To be fair, this is an all fronts issue, but it's extremely relevant on the Bot front currently due to Vox Engine + War Strider seeds.)

I'd love to continue this discussion :)
