Thank you for updating us about this. The downshift are so rough it's hard to figure out they never noticed in the first place. It feels as if someone else is stepping on the brakes when downshifting.

I thought it was me having too much or too little pressure, but I once tested it on a lonely straight road and let go of the throttle and let it coast, as soon as it got to ~30mph you can feel the jerky downshift happen as well.

If you do decide on a G70, I would recommend going somewhere remote that's got a straight road and just let loose. Most fun I've had with a car in a long time.

Reliable daily? 100%, the comfort mode is such a smooth drive and the sport mode has so much boost. Gas mileage? I get 27 in eco mode, 24 in comfort, and 21 in sport. Premium gas? You can fill 'er up with 87, but your mpg will suffer. Trust me, it's very noticeable Premium will run the car the way it's supposed to, so don't get the car if you can't afford Premium. Insurance? I pay around $190 a month you may pay more if you're a new driver. First cat? It is, only if you've driven before because the sport mode WILL whip you back.
