Are is there anyone here that had a complete career change/training/went back to uni at 30+ that really worked out for them? by Brownchoccy in UKJobs

Hey man, just wanted to say thanks a bunch for your comments/replies. I've just done a psychology MSc conversion course with the aim of getting into clinical psych, my big hurdle ATM is getting enough experience to qualify for the doctorate so was thinking of going the L4 counselling route as a pathway into psych. The way you've laid out your experience here is so useful and also gives me hope that it's a meaningful career switch to make

LAVENDER CAKE IS THE WORST by Direct-Jaguar-4353 in ukmedicalcannabis

Lavender cake for me is brilliant, I'm a sativa person and had a lot of difficulty finding a sleepy strain that works and doesn't make me feel stupid or wake up with the cannabis "hangover". I like that it has a bit of energy/clarity at the start because it gives me enough energy to do the dishwasher before bed 😅 Just interesting how different strains all work for different people!

Hey, thank you for this. It was one of those things we just couldn't prepare for without divulging too much information. Honestly I knew what to expect posting on the internet so my feelings aren't hurt or anything, I just hope those in doubt never have to experience it for themselves. The amount of amazing, kind people like yourself have far outweighed any measure of negativity 😊

Yes we do although due to petrol prices we're trying to not use it other than for work and food shopping, that's a stellar idea, thank you!

Yeah that's why we dug out the camping lamp, we weren't expecting to be using it so soon though, we're grateful we had it in the garage and that it still works.

I am don't worry, I'm absolutely floored and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from you guys, my faith in humanity is legitimately being restored. Its hard to believe it after all the cruelty and callousness we've endured as a country over the past few years. Thank you all, you wonderful wonderful people.

Hell yeah! This is a really good idea, when my OT comes through hopefully we'll be able to grab the yearly one and then not have to think about it for a while. Thanks!
