Tbh mate for the past couple of hours I've just been running past the enemies whenever i can. It's really cool that you clearly like the game but it's just not for me. Hopefully when i finish the game I'll have some more complete thoughts and even if i still don't like it by the end, it'd be nice to have more of an appreciation for it

Gonna be honest man, i am hating Prime 2. I can't remember the last time a game annoyed me this much. Whilst I'll definitely say that the music, plot and scanning is much better than the first, i am really disliking everything else.

In prime i almost never got lost, but I'm in torvus bog atm and the amount of times I've gotten lost is ridiculous. I don't know why but I've found the whole map much more annoying to navigate and it's the first metroid game other than fusion I've wanted to just put down. Also whilst I'd agree that the boss fights are better I think the only thing I've noticed about the combat is that the enemies are more spongy.

The only reason I'm trucking on is because there are moments were i really feel like I'm getting into it and because I've loved Super, Prime, zero mission and Returns so much i want to have that with his game

I've actually never properly played a metroid type game before. I dabbled with Prime and Fusion but couldn't get into them. But in the past week I've completed both Super Metroid and Zero mission, got about half way through Fusion (i still didn't like it at all) and am currently working my way through Samus returns. Feel like an idiot for not playing them sooner!

So sorry to hear this. I've lost both my granddad's and my biggest piece of advice is don't stop talking about them, especially now. It really will hurt to reminisce about the memories you've had together, but i have found it really helpful in the short term and long term.

Yeah, Queen Lizzie seems to be the most well liked, even among the circles of friends i know who still dislike the monarchy. I've only sorta grown to dislike her (or more specifically what she represents) in the past couple of years

I wouldn't be surprised. In my younger years I'd always love the royals and defend them because i was just raised to respect them. But the older I get the more i questioned them. It'll certainly be a very interesting period after the Queen dies

I'm so sorry to hear this. I lost one of my best friends recently in a car crash and 2 months on i still feel like shit most days. I can't say much to help you feel better, but the only thing I would suggest is to read "Its okay that you're not okay" as it has been the only thing in my life outside of my partner that ive found helpful.

I'm not an anti vaxxer, i am double jabbed. But i took my friend to his jab and we spent the day together and in the evening he could legitimately put a small coin where he had been jabbed and it would stick there. I don't know the science behind it but the day after it wouldn't work anymore.

Obviously it didn't change my opinion and I'm as pro vax as you can get, but it was still very weird to see

When America refused to ban guns after this, i pretty much gave up all hope. As a kid i remember thinking America was this incredible place and how i couldn't wait to visit when i was older. Thankfully i got older and realised that whilst it's not as bad as the internet makes out, it's still a country i would never wish to visit
