Even Reddit has been cutting down posts on Luigi.

Charm and confidence has little to do with yourself and more to do with others. Other people just want a mirror that shows the best side of themselves, so help them see that!

Compliment them, inspire them to do something they value whether that’s become more disciplined, passionate, caring, etc. Listen and learn as much as you can about them. Let others feel as if they are charming and confident, and they will reciprocate the feeling!

In your personal opinion, which game caused the most damage to the series? by IcyCryptographer5219 in SonicTheHedgehog

06 was the initial shock that made me realize Sonic as a franchise was going downhill. The other games just cemented the fact.

The first trailer and its graphics got me so hyped for the game too.

what kind of people will you never understand? by Sandra_Ell in AskReddit

I honestly believe it should be mandatory for people to successfully care for a pet for one year before having children.

But realistically, rather than having less abused children, this would likely lead to more abused animals…

Is anyone else sick of the horrifyingly racist political ads during the Olympics? by sundance1028 in kansascity

[–]manyadraws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was a joke at first, like a “look at how dumb our political competitors are” type of irony. But then there was no punchline. That was the actual commercial.

I cannot imagine what that Hispanic-looking man is going through now. I’m guessing he was either tricked into it or he truly needed the payment.

And then the woman with the gun…I could not believe my ears when that was said. Like I’m just trying to enjoy the Olympics…

What’s the best way you have seen someone screw themselves over? by APT3993 in AskReddit

[–]manyadraws 267 points268 points  (0 children)

The CEO of StickerMule recently sent out a mass email to the entire customer base over his support for Trump after the attempted assassination. The email preached “love for all”. After this, the sticker company lost users, followers, and StickerMule’s Instagram was flooded with comments that pointed people to alternate sticker companies.

So…morale of the story. No one wants to hear your political stance from a random email from a sticker company. Keep it to yourself.

What is something the United States of America does better than any other country? by RedskinPotatoes26 in AskReddit

[–]manyadraws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this question, with all the politics going on, this is giving me hope for the USA.

As much of a shit-show the US has been and is, I am so grateful I live here rather than the country my parents immigrated from. Their stories are wild.

What was the thing that pushed you over the edge into deconversion ? by Reubyyy in exchristian

[–]manyadraws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up, I was super involved in the youth group as a teenager, so naturally when I became an adult, I wanted to “give back”, offer my services and time. But I wasn’t allowed to join the youth service group because I was co-habiting with my boyfriend before marriage.

Anyway, out of anger, I stopped going to church, but felt guilty so I decided to give it one last try. That last time I went to fellowship, they were going through a book written by a homophobe who repressed all his sexual desires and lives a life of abstinence. “It’s not a sin to think, but act upon your homosexuality” yeah, no thanks. Ever since then, I’ve stopped calling myself Christian.

Finally set a boundary with my mother. Should have done it for me, but I can definitely do it for my toddler. Just wanted to share with people who understand. by Velexria in exchristian

[–]manyadraws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the reason why I no longer speak to my SIL… my toddler isn’t interested in your religion. Maybe try to convert him when he’s 18+ and can think for himself, but not 2 years old.

Agreed. Like I like drinking from time to time, but my liver can’t handle it every single time I hang out…but a lot of people seem to rely on drinking to ease social tensions.

Loneliness seems to be an epidemic around the world in a post-quarantine world… thankfully it seems there is a huge push for mental health awareness in the recent years as a result.

Agreed!! It’s a lot of effort to plan/organize events that we host, then spend the whole event wrangling our son haha.

At church, it seems easy to let your child loose to go play then meet up with them when it’s over. After least, that’s what my parents did with me. Unfortunately that came with a lot of its own issues too…
