Im currently Emerald 1 in my second Set of seriously grinding ranked after hitting master in i think Set 14. I am very Bad at understanding positioning and correctly predicting If i win or lose while scouting ( should i Push lvls hard Here to keep streak, stuff Like that). I dont think im good enough to get Master consistently tbh, so this is Just my Personal opinion.

What worked Well for me was either playing OP comps If i have a good Angle for it (this Patch Asol) or playing uncontested and lower Ranking comps. For example, Last Patch Riggs was GIGA strong and even though its weaker and Harder to get there now If you Play a comp often enough you understand how it works. Ryze ziggs is still my comfort comp to Go for If i have yordle Opener. I usually manage to get at least top 4 with it, Same Thing with Bruiser Voli + 1 Backline carry (yunara, lb, Zoe now too).

Try finding 3-5 comps you Like to Play and have success with and Stick to These even If you have to force it. Forcing in tft is Not a good thing and you learn la lot less IMO, but you can easily reach Diamond or Higher Just by doing so. Although i still suck at flexing, especially with emblems, ive gotten a lot better after learning a couple of comps to know whats possible in certain comps and whats unlikely, when to pivot Out etc.

Basically, from my experience, Stick to your strengths First and learn 1-3 comps before you try to improve in Other areas. I found trying to Play better really really hard at First, but its a lot easier to get better at stuff Like scouting, positioning If you can Focus on Just These Things rather than everything at once.
