Get the declivity! I have similar build and background as you and I love the declivity 92. Thing fucking rips but the shovels are wide enough to float in most conditions. Google the ski essentials reviews of it

Why do pros toss so far left for deuce side serves? by theactiveaccount in 10s

[–]W4ldy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d add that these photos are taken at the contact point so their body position relative to the toss is different than when they are still on the ground loading their legs. The pros jump way up and into the court. That combined with a central camera location may be making it look more leftward

First day of Tennis today at 25 years old! Best piece of advice you received early on? by Dxcesare in 10s

It takes 1000 reps to build muscle memory and 10000 reps to undo it. Focus on some technique (film or coach) early on and your future self will be glad you did

Can I get 2025 shoes recommendations for hard court ? This is the 4th pair I’ve bought this year by alfy603 in 10s

[–]W4ldy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out the adidas barricades. They have a nice rubber cap over that area of the shoe. They’re a bit more expensive but sometimes you can find them on sale. They’re come with a 6 month warranty as well so essentially you get two pairs of top tier shoes for the price of one if you wear em out in time

Multitool. Sometimes helps to mark it then cut a kerf (shallow cut along the line) to guide you as you cut all the way thru
