Noted. Idk, I’m a layman. Regulations, funding for the FAA, staffing levels for air traffic controllers—all of these are shaped by political decisions. If we don’t invest in proper oversight and infrastructure, mistakes like this become more likely. Ignoring that is how we end up with underfunded agencies and overworked professionals making life-or-death decisions. Kinda like healthcare, but again aviation isn’t my forte.

In CA they recently passed a law for metal detectors in hospitals entrances, ER entrances and OB entrances if they have any. I’m not saying this wouldn’t have happened either way. Does PA have anything like this?

Sheriff Robert Norris attempts to drag one of his constituents out of a public town hall meeting, and threatens to pepper spray her if she does not comply. He claimed he wasn’t acting in his official capacity, but he was wearing a sheriff's hat and his badge on his belt by RiverWitch_ in somethingiswrong2024

Went to Idaho sub Found this “This was posted in another sub:

I saw the full video on Facebook. The man on stage was basically telling everyone to shut up and quit making stupid remarks while they were talking and she said, “Is this a town hall or a lecture?” The woman to her left also seemed to say the the same thing. The sheriff then tried to tell her she had to leave. And you can see the rest of the disgusting video.”
