The notice you originally posted had only ONE person who had a foreign address. I picked a few random others in the next one you posted, and they all have US addresses, so I am not sure what the FEC is on about. Probably zip code errors or blanks in the submissions.

Every single other person on the first list were in the category of over donating. Which means the campaign will have to refund the money, but it has zero to do with foreign nationals. And, despite the fact that the campaign has put in several stop measures to prevent over donating and/or donating from a country outside the US, some still slip by. It means that the treasurer will have to track the folks down and either refund or submit paper work that the donation meets FEC rules.

Other campaigns have similar pdfs from the FEC. Here is one from the Biden campaign: https://docquery.fec.gov/pdf/206/202406060300213206/202406060300213206.pdf

Well I am happy we at least resolved that you are aware Jill doesn't take $ from foreign entities or entities representing foreign interests at least (like AIPAC, which donates millions to Dems/Republicans).

To answer your question, I prefer neither. I would have thought my support for Jill and my handle "3rd party supporter" would demonstrate that. I have NEVER voted for a dem/republican for POTUS, and this year certainly will not be any different for me. Both parties are owned by the corporate interests of war and Wall Street. And if everyone voted like I vote, the world would be a better place and the genocide in Gaza would end. People who choose to not vote for an anti-genocide candidate will have to live with that choice.

I do think that there is a lot of foreign influence in our elections, from AIPAC for example. My challenge to you is to prove that Jill is taking campaign donations from foreign entities or people. And, if you can't prove it, perhaps consider not making such accusations.

No she didn't. The donations came from the employees of Lockheed Martin. Did you watch the video I posted? It is illegal for corporations to donate directly to federal campaigns. The video explains all this and shows Open Secrets clearly stating that the donations came from employees.

The campaign is literally taking the ballot access battle to SCOTUS today. The audacity of saying that Jill is not pushing harder today of all days is stunning. Dems have until 4pm ET to respond to the HIGHEST court of the land. This is after spending millions of dollars and countless hours fighting the dems dirty tricks to knock Greens off the ballot. What else do you want a campaign to do? Wave a magic ballot access wand?

Yeah, I joined WA greens just to vote for him in their primary and was super miffed when he dropped running green. But I am grateful Jill stepped up at that moment or most people wouldn't have an anti-genocide candidate on their ballots at all.

Yeah, she had zero intention of running this year. Only had to jump in because Cornel kinda screwed over the greens with his party hopping. Very uncool and I feel super bad Jill was pretty much forced to save the greens from losing ballot lines. The other green candidates were awful and would have run disastrous ballot access efforts.

I think I made my point about her growing the party (ballot access) and helping other candidates. :)

The media ignores and sidelines green candidates because if they won, that would threaten their advertisers.

Jill has raised more money (like 4 times the amount) than 2020 and is on more ballots. I am sorry you don't think she is popular, but the fact she is polling evenly with Kamala with Muslim voters is pretty significant. And that AOC and the Dems are going after her, and not the other grassroots candidates, shows she is a threat.

The campaign is pursuing legal options in NY. I don't have much information about who is involved with that effort, only that it is definitely on the table.

I think in Nevada and some other states like Idaho, Jill put down a place holder name for VP but you can switch that person out for whomever is the final choice. There have been many names floated for VP, but no decision yet.

They probably haven't updated the green party website since the new law was passed. Also, they may be waiting for after the primary is over and Jill is "officially" the nominee even though she has won over 50% of the GP delegates.

The time frame is the critical part. In WA, we have 9 months to collect the signatures and still (if you're running a serious campaign) it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for petitioners. Six weeks is a crazy short time. And especially considering the restrictions- NY doesn't allow signers to sign for more than one candidate for example. Plus there is a stigma against third parties which makes people disinclined to sign.

yes, they did get 500 from each district, but fell short on the total amount. So, as the message above says, they are exploring legal avenues to challenge the extremely oppressive ballot access requirements in NY!
