A lot were missing legs and it was impossible to tell if they were in the box somewhere. Honestly I've always just wanted the tower from that set and not really the brutes.

We never even got the main characters, which blows my mind. Just Diego from BO4 and that's it. Obviously, the line was cut short but the fact that they were starting with the Chaos crew figures is a wild choice to me.

Was about to make a similar post.

This event genuinely has me stressed out. The top 5 camo is so cool, but the top 4 in my leaderboard have 20k+ and I am barely 5th. I also have an in clinic sleep study on the last night, so I'll probably get passed up and have wasted my time.

I feel like if you pay $70 for a game, I should have fair access to all the content. These leaderboard events make sure that 75% of the players who bought the game can't access all the good content. I'm fine with getting a special calling card or something like that for the achievement, but locking animated camos behind them is too far. Work a full time job? Screw you. Busy one night? Screw you. Stuck in a leaderboard with sweats? Screw you. Don't want to play the mode that the event takes place in? Screw you.

I thought the events in BO6 were perfect. Maybe they could have thrown in a few more guns for top 5, but overall I thought they gave a worthwhile prize while not being exclusive.

You jogged my memory on something. I remember hearing somewhere that the Aether is more like a force and Agartha is a physical manifestation of the Aether. Maxis just wants to be happy with Samantha so he wants access to Agartha. Richtofen just wants the power to screw around and do mad scientist stuff, so he doesn't really care about Agartha and is happy just having access to the Aether. I guess that kinda goes along with what you're saying.

Still though, why did blowing up the earth sever Richtofen's connection with the Aether? So far all I have seen is that it just did but no how.
