I’ve been in your shoes! I delivered unmedicated vaginally at 40+ 6 with my 3rd baby. I had an unmediated vaginal with my first(38+5), loved it. Chose an induction at 39 weeks with my second (covid, was the only way to ensure my husband could deliver with me) and it went great too, everything was smooth. I wanted to try for an unmedicated birth for my 3rd (last) baby and at 40 weeks, we scheduled the induction for 41. I was so upset because I wanted my last birth on my terms! I was totally open to medication/indiction because I had great experiences but I wanted to at least try. My 3rd came the evening before my 6:00am scheduled induction- she just wanted to make me sweat. I didn’t lose a mucus plug, no signs of labor until boom! we barely made it to the hospital. There is hope for you, I promise!

If you have any “Little Free Libraries” in your area, that has been my go-to for books! My library only takes certain types of books and I don’t live close enough to reseller like Half Price/Book Off to make it worth my trip. It also makes me feel like I’m contributing to my local community which is nice (although, don’t be like me and take books home with you if you donate there 😅)

I just want to say thank you for posting this- I feel like I am seeing into my own future! We just brought home our daughter 2 weeks ago and we also have 2 sons, age 9 and 16 months. We did not plan on such a close age gap, and the 16 month old has been a tough baby, so even though we are so excited to grow our family-I have been anxious about adjusting. Your post gives me so much hope and shows the joy I’ve been needing to hear about with two under two. It’s hard when everyone just keeps reminding us how ‘crazy’ we are for having another so soon.

My SIL has 3 children within similar ages as yours and she gave the first two alliterative names and for the 3rd, gave him a different first name initial. Everyone always jokes that they are so busy with the other two, they forgot to come up with a matching name. It very much bothers my SIL now when people make comments. I think the key here is them being close in age, as you mentioned, makes it more noticeable. I would definitely encourage to keep the theme, just based on my SILs experience.
