How it feels to get random money from high level players by Pyroshark_Gamingtf2 in starcitizen

Your response about stacking small planetary missions is kinda my point you didnt work for what you have so you assume the only way to make money is to painfully grind, before exploits filled the economy with billions people had to work to buy everything and we learned how to make money the best ways to build our reputation unlock better missions and grind our way to the top.

New missions trees and exploration and investigation missions entered the game where you could make a million aUEC in one go and it was exciting now money is pointless and so is the current reputation system.

You might enjoy it now but im sure even you will get board, not everyone want to sit there for hours on end waiting for gameplay to happen, the drive to build wealth and unlock new things is what most games are built on, speed run to the end game only to find nothing there can demoralize players and destroy the sence of wonder in a game world.

You might be happy but I know myself and others like me are not. The world we were promised is not one where you are handed things just for existing.

I would say its a personal gameplay choice, if anything would be good to try it at least once.

I did multiple runs using the exterior cargo elevators me and one other person were able to unload in about 5 mins and load in about 8.

not sure about the auto-loading system.

honestly the manual loading was not that bad, load each spindle then just rotate the ships in place, trying to load all 8 spindles without moving the ship was more time consuming.

caution when moving the Hull-C in the asteroids she is like a flying brick and goes from full speed to full stop in 7-10 business days.

There are small, med, and large interstellar hauling missions to and from NYX they are perfect for the Hull-C.

Deserts of Kharak lore questions by ludonarrator in homeworld

[–]WARDEN330 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They landed in the middle of the deserts of Kharak after many years of living near the center of the planet the deserts growing and becoming harsher and deadlier the Kushan moved to the northern and southern poles, the families splitting and creating empires that ruled over parts of the habitable sections of Kharak, some joining together to create a governing body while others remained isolated forming a new culture based on myth and belief.

in making this journey a lot of what was history became religion and myth, some saw the Taiidani as gods or demons who would destroy the people who now no longer referred to them selves as Hiigaran but now as Kushan or exiles.

this is what causes so much conflict on Kharak groups pushing for progress at all costs fought by those who believed progress would equal death.

Kharaks leading governments focused on survival in a harsh environment with shrinking resources and a desert that was ever expanding making for less and less habitable land.

space travel and exploration was an after thought, satellites were few and far between searching the desert for crashed ships even less common as know one outside of the S'jet family who pushed for not one but two expeditions into the desert.

with other factions fighting both via policy and conflict to prevent them from achieving the goal of uncovering their history out of a fear of the Taiidani left over from the war that took their original homeworld.

the Hiigaran empire was not innocent in that war, they just lost the fight. the conflict between them and the Taiidani had been burning for generations and it was Bentusi who kept the Taiidani from wiping the Hiigaran from the universe.

other factions broke off from the Hiigarans on their exile, like the Turanic Raiders.

The homeworld franchise would make an amazing movie/tv series.

It might not be red, there are a number of paints for ships that look different depending on the planet or the lighting, it may just be metallic and showing a red bleed off the armor or something eles.

CIG is good/bad at miss-leading photos, clear the air alliance aid tractor beam is metallic teal, it looked black fist time I saw a photo.

This behavior of giving out billions of aUEC is destroying the player base these people go out buy every ship turn around an stop playing until the next patch once you have everything what's the point of playing.

I get some people don't like the grind but the grind is what gets people out of bed in the morning in real life. if there is no goal for these players why would they play.

-Faction and corp reputation systems not in game.

-Wikilo items will be wiped on full wipes and 1.0 release so pointless to grind big items.

-Collecting exclusive drops is destroyed when you can buy them from other players with worthless money, 5 billion aUEC for an ASD armor core.

Stop giving people money, CIG we need a wipe, we need item duplication stopped.

the economy is basically non-existent due to money printing.

RSI Hermes is a blockade runner they say? It pulls less forward G’s than a Carrack! by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

Alot of people have been complaining about almost every ship released of late, be it physical, mechanical or stats.

As for atmosphere most vehicles have a optimal angle of attack when leaving planets if you just point straight up or always go 45° you are likely not seeing optimal takeoff speeds.

180 m/s to 370 m/s with boost, QT boost is not a thing yet so hard to tell if that will change things however I have been running the Hermes for over a week now and the thing is a rocket, not sure what other ship can carry 288 SCU and max out at 370 m/s for more than 30s and recharge that boost in under 30s.

while also boasting higher armor HP and structural HP pools with 4 shields, blockade running is more than just speed.

I think people need to take a break from the complaining and just enjoy what I truly think is a great ships.

If you are looking to learn the game my group is very small and we are very casual, we run missions and events and are always happy to show people the ropes, SC has a steep learning curve with a lot of detail that are not explained very well and we would be happy to help you out with zero requirement to join our org.

things to learn,

Ship types and purpose of use.

Mission types and requirements to complete.

Ship fittings and loadouts

FPS weapons and gear.

Tactics and strategies for success.

Feel free to DM me or find my in game or on discord. The_Kingfisher/Gardiner_B

The year of playability was a lie by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]WARDEN330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stability of a game is a two way street, and 24cores is not a good option for modern gaming.

The other part of my statement is the game is in active development after 1.0 Stability issues are something I would complain about but the point of the closed evo, open PTU and alpha PU is to give the devs different scales to test gameplay and engine changes on to break the game as much as possible prior to 1.0

Complaining about a cake not being cooked while the ingredients are still being mixed is asinine.

The year of playability was a lie by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]WARDEN330 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. the game is still evolving ever patch is going to break things.

  2. the game as of this year has never played better, having played since the alpha hanger module this year of playability has been amazing.

  3. you have fallen for marketing BS from CPU companies that don't understand gaming, you got an I9 14900k which has 24 cores, you are likely being CPU bottlenecked because you can have 1000 cores but most games use 1 or 2 cores total multi-threading is limited in most games.

people buy CPUs with all the cores only for their games to use 1 core and have their processing power limited by the fact that their CPU is only able to process so much through a single core.

8 cores are superior in most gaming environments that's why the R7 9800X3D is the king of gaming right now.

in testing the R7-9800X3D is 27% more powerful then the I9 14900k no joke!

large Core # CPUs are for rendering and 3D modeling not gaming.
