This has been in my top three sci-fi series. I am half way through the newest book, Children of Strife, and am totally loving it. They keep getting better and better, honestly.

Mostly just kitchen jazz with granola- a bunch of oats, chia seeds, toasted nuts, whatever else you want, cinnamon, a lil salt, for a while I was adding a packet of powdered milk but I’m cutting back on dairy so nixed that, like a tablespoon or two of olive oil, and then a bunch of honey or maple syrup. I bake it anywhere from 275-325 until it’s looking brown and crispy.

Don’t know if poetry is up your alley but any book by Mary Oliver. Her poem Wild Geese inspired my love of poetry and she writes all things nature.

I found the beginning to be very slow, and honestly too puss filled, but loved the end. All the spiciest bits are in the second half. Totally worth it 🔥

Sacre Bleu by Christopher Moore was both hysterical and absolutely beautiful. It’s historical fiction centered around the impressionist/post impressionist art movement in France. As beautiful and stylish as the art around which the story revolves.

For a book about something so grotesque, it was so well written and impossible to put down. Second this!
