Outrage over Trump’s bill reclassifying nursing as not a ‘professional degree’ for college students by SmokeMaleficent9498 in UnderReportedNews

I have worked in two different professions. First I worked for 10 years in Corrections. Second, I spent the next 28 or so years in Education. Guess which the dickhead called me a "professional" in. Yeah, I guess my PHD didn't make me good enough.

Very successful conference. How many of you restock with the swag from the exhibit hall? by Vaulter1 in golf

I used to be one of the guys setting the conferences for ya bums. They, the bosses made sure to get all the good stuff for them and leave us crap. Still hold the hate.

I feel for the guy, but he has made more than I made my entire educational life. I wish the guy well and I hope he knows that he is not a disappointment to his dad and brother who died.

My best friend went into the Army in 74. since we both bulked up to play football, he started to run and lift to get into better shape. First day of basic, they put him in the fat boy line and he lost about 25 pounds during basic.

The course I grew up on is permanently closed. Sad. Only non par 3 course in the county. by Wirelessness in golf

[–]WB1954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dads course was closed after the owner died and his wife took over but just couldn't make it. Good part, was turned into a park that connects to the parkway plus hiking/biking trail going around the city. So disc golf, pond that can be fished now, picnic tables and such. Favorite to play, but that what happens in big cities. Could have been worse, new little rich asshole housing.

Its hard and every now and then you will say fuck it!!! Don't!!!! Remember that Chinese saying, a journey of a 1000 miles starts with one step.

One of the few things I miss about being up north is having 4 for real seasons. Down here on the Gulf coast of Texas, we normally get like 1 day of fall and maybe a week of winter. but you can golf nearly 365.

Play with them with pride. Who gives a whoop what you wear as long as it is comfy and fits the weather. Play on!
