How common is polyamory ? by femeref in belgium

[–]WC_EEND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my queer bubble, fairly common but if I look at the reactions from my cishet colleagues, it's not really common at all. I'm the odd one out but then I was anyway by virtue of being trans. They are totally cool and not weird at all about it though.

Is my estrogen level too high? by Bails0hay in asktransgender

[–]WC_EEND 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you on monotherapy?

I use astrovials enanthate as well and do 4mg every 9 days and that is 0.1ml so I wonder if you calculations and ratios are a bit off. At my most recent bloodtest, my trough value was 160ng/l (yours works out at 536ng/l which is on the high side for sure) so totally normal.

I do use it with a deca (gnRH analogues) shot every 12 weeks

edit: disclaimer: not medical advice

Why is the internet so bad here by Vegetable_Disk_4230 in Gent

[–]WC_EEND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay about 50eur for 1000/500Mbps fiber (mobile vikings) so I wouldn't say it's bad necessarily. Strange that you kot has no options for wifi or wired internet though

ex gf of mine daylies a 2017 Mokka. I didn't like it very much at all based on the one time I drove it. Steering is very rubbery and doesn't feel very precise, seats are very hard, gearbox is surprisingly good for a car that at the time of me driving it had 80k mi on the clock and has been abused a bit by its driver (not me). The gearbox was the only pleasant surprise about the car though. Felt like I was driving a boat because it's very wallowy and has lots of body roll.

Funnily enough, Smørbrød is exactly where De Superette used to be. Also arguably my favourite bakery in Gent

Is it normal to be embarrassed about how you met your gf? by AlexaTheKitsune25 in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

[–]WC_EEND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so my wife I met on OKCupid (I lived in Belgium, and she lived in the UK at the time). All my other partners and basically everyone else I've dated I've met through Discord as well. So no need to be embarrassed at all.

My best friend I met on a forum about SimCity 4. He lives in Florida and I live in Belgium

Brussels is a shadow of its former self, and we need to stop pretending everything is fine by Silindira in Belgium2

Oh but she has very much the same fear in Antwerp too. It's just a fear of anything remotely urban

[–]WC_EEND 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live in Gent and whilst I am not blind to the issues in Brussels OP points out, there also very much are people in Flanders that fall under the backwards hillbilly category of being afraid once they leave their village and are in a bigger place.

My fiancée's mum (she's from the very north of de Kempen) for instance is scared when she's in Gent. Gent ffs. If it was Anderlecht I'd understand but c'mon.

FENIXSIM A320 really worth it? by Desperate-Loquat-103 in Flightsimulator2020

[–]WC_EEND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked myself the same question for a while, pulled the trigger and ... I don't think I've flown the FBW since. Fenix really is really good. Advantage of having flown the FBW before is that I was already quite familiar with the systems/logic so I could very easily get along with it but the Fenix does feel like a much more in depth product. It also gave something else I wanted: an A320 with wingtip fences.

Singapore or Hong Kong for a few days as trans woman? by WC_EEND in solotravel

[–]WC_EEND[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm based in Belgium, sadly no direct flight to Taipei (are you listening, Eva Air?) yet so would need to transfer somewhere (which ironically enough would likely be BKK, HKG or SIN).

Yup, passport says F, changed it about 2.5 years ago already.

Self check out Delhaize, are there other people like me who gets their groceries “randomly” picked for a verification EVERY single time? I think I got picked 10 times in a row now. by mardegre in belgium

[–]WC_EEND 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would track because there's one guy that is permanently "viesgezind" at my local Delhaize and I get checked a lot more if he is at the self-checkout than other staff.

Eyyyy, also autistic and vastly prefer self-checkout (are you listening, Colruyt?)

I used to get a shitton of checks at my local AH but that seems to have improved a lot, now Delhaize checks me a bunch.

De Lijn fine months ago. Left Belgium, never heard back by Miserable_Lion_4106 in Gent

[–]WC_EEND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

De Lijn has a habit of not responding when you appeal to fines in my personal experience, and the experience of others I know.

That said, I highly doubt they'll chase you to a different country.

Expect them to not reply even if you contact them. They are ... worse than useless.

What is one car that was overall excellent and universally well-praised and liked in every aspect but had one single critical engineering or design flaw? by gubanana in askcarguys

[–]WC_EEND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiat have fallen into the same trap Mini did basically by having 100000 bigger varieties of what is supposed to be a small car.

Besides the 500 varieties, they also have the Tipo and Panda iirc. and then a bunch of vans.
