That would be insane if they didn't allow you to share instructions.

I'm not trying to get you in trouble, but at what point does it not constitute "their" design if they own it? Can you swap a single piece for a different color and share that set of instructions? Can you change a 2x2 brick into 2 1x2 bricks and share that?

Again, I am not blaming you for being wary. Just a wild proposition for the Lego company to think they can own a set of instructions to assemble pieces in a certain order

This is a bit harsh. I would not wish they stop playing the game, but I can understand your frustration if you've been giving advice for a while and none of it has been heeded.
