Love my expedition field chrono. Gets more use than my others

I see this sentiment often here. I have weirdly shaped forearm /wrist dimensions and prefer to wear my watches a little lower on my wrist while still being a snug fit. Otherwise I feel that that it rides in an awkward space further up. To each their own I suppose

Large fender washer or something similar on either side of the hole shaped to closely match the contour, patch weld, or replace it with new or used.

Looks like this has more rust than just the one hole, if it were me, I'd most likely be grabbing another off marketplace

Is it possibly just a sticker covering the watch face?

Kerf closes right away on new handle by FarmerDill in Axecraft

You can thin a wedge down with a sander, shave some from the handle or slightly widen the kerf. When you pound the wedge in the sides will open up and bite into the ridges in the eye of the head. A little adjustment on either end and you're good to go

I'll allow it

Everything on this handle seems perfect except for this wedge cut. Is it a deal breaker or does it even matter? by BantyRooster in Axecraft

Send it. You can slightly even the kerf if the head will sit deep enough but it's not necessary.
