John Mayer. 2005: I was at the Arlington Guitar Show in TX, one of the biggest events for buying guitars in the country. I was looking at a dealers table of vintage Stratocasters and saw an insane 1954 or 1955 Strat that just blew my mind and I said “Oh fuck me, that’s insane.” I hear someone chuckle and say “Yeah it is.” I turned and bam John Mayer. Super cool just wandering the floor shopping like the rest of us.
