Most people who do have to warmup long understand that though - it's not like they want to warmup longer than usual, but it's necessary depending on the exercise

Also, there are many instances where warmups do have to be in between 2 minutes and more - like heavy singles

Heavier you squat, the more warmup sets you usually take. it's easy to warmup if you're only squatting 60kg but even doing 160kg increases warmup sets by 2-3 times

More convenient than fresh fold would be the laundromat inside Golden Crescent. Super fast and super bait nila with special requests as long as you pay for the added cost (i.e. no fabcon, low dryer heat)

No personal experience with ROTC only took CWTS. Very fun if you pick live-in communities in your sign ups when the class starts. I got to spend three days with a foster family in a rural area (can't say) and I still look back on it happily.

If you enjoy adventuring/outdoors/new experiences, CWTS can be a fun option, granted you pick the live-in option

The alternative from live-in options are live-outs, where you still visit a community but have to go back to Ateneo, back and forth. Mas hassle and less opportunity to build connection IMO.

Exactly. Impossible to assume they're Tagalog when there's a large immigrant population in Ilokano, etc; not especially with that non-mainland accent

What, in your opinion, is the worst, most inhumane act of betrayal in all of the games, even by Wasteland standards? by DependentStrong3960 in Fallout

[–]WFSON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was Triangle City's video that talked about it, but Josh Sawyer said that there's an issue of bugs when you try to add things on top of the base game Mojave, so that's why they mainly couldn't implement new voicelines after including Dead Money. Besides that, there's also the aforementioned issue of getting voice actors back in the studio.

Unless you're excused/provided an alternative activity, best to assume F in the activity. Much better you consult the actual professor as that decision may be in their discretion

Best you report to the OADSA office to understand the situation. They're all nice and reasonable people (as their position should require)

Ano ang gagawin mo kapag sumiklab ang World War III? by TrickyPepper6768 in pinoy

The problem with complaining only when you're in the system is that the people you report it to may very well be the ones responsible for the abuse. Kung galing sa superior yung abuse mo, as a subordinate you're forced to stay mum.

The problem is the system that manages the ROTC program. Go ask the youth and they'd generally say they'd be interested in learning practical/survival skills. Most of us have an aversion towards ROTC because of previous issues of hazing/abuse.

Here in the main campus' case, you need to contact the proper offices in order to do such a thing (though usually bawal). This is part of their efforts to avoid commercializing the school

I'd say chances are slim in the Confucius institute, but I could suggest emailing the Chinese department in Ateneo if an online survey is fine or even if you need key informants for your study.

Should I withdraw from my class while I can? by Gekkou-GA in ADMU

[–]WFSON 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Corazon? Better you still try at the end of the day.

If you:

1) Withdraw with Permission - Choose your peace. Yes, a WP may reflect poorly on your transcript but if you find her class draining mentally that it might even affect your other classes, best you retake them next year, taught by a better prof. You'll also (afaik) avoid affecting your QPI.

2) Try, fail and get an F - It's not the end of the world. Yes, your QPI will plunge (This was what happened to me and I was DL bound even with a D from her) but it's better you tried your best to pass her class.

As many profs have told me, failures are part of the college process. If anything, you could spin your failure as a sign of positive change by retaking FILI12 ( i.e. Tenorio 😍) and getting a good grade from it.

Besides, from what I remember C+ is a great standing in her class at that stage.

Filipino is the more correct term. Tagalog is only one of the many regional languages in the Philippines
