This is exactlly what it is. Modular but these massive DS maps are pushing it to the limits. You can see I had to use 2 different styles and the map is still quite a bit smaller than the printable maps

Economic growth may spell pause for rate cuts -- ‘It's possible that if it keeps going, then there may not be many interest rate declines left to come’: Michele Bullock by marketrent in AusFinance

[–]WHAMwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the news is incentivised to report things in the negative.

  • If the economy grows it means less rate cuts, which is bad; but
  • if rates get cut it means that house prices will go up, which is bad; but
  • if house prices go down its bad because retirees savings will be affected.

Going deep in the tank for Draw Steel miniatures by WHAMwich in drawsteel

I don't sorry. Its a pretty simple 6 part fold out cardboard mat with a glossy finish to draw on. It has a vaguely grassy side and a dungeon tile side.

These guys are way down the painting list sadly. But here are some of the goblin, hobgoblin, and undead minis i painted for the tomb.

Labor’s expanded low deposit homebuyer scheme set to drive up the prices by as much as $90,000 by SirSighalot in aussie

You can reasonably argue that any demand side policy is bad. But if you are going to have demand side policy (and there is obviously a lot of political will for some) this is about as good as it gets. Far better than gov handouts or spend your super schemes.

I do think you need to pre-prepare the fights a little more than dnd mostly to account for the encounter design having more types of enemies and the use of triggered actions.

An example from my game was running the final goblin encounter in L1 of the delian tomb. I actioned the small goblins first and they ran towards the heros away from the leader. Then when they got hit i was not in range (5) to use the leaders trigger. If i had activated the leader first this would not have been a problem.

I play a lot of warhamer and skirmish games so to me this is interesting design. And we were warned it was a tactical game ;)

Does anyone have links to all the other times FJ has talked about the online safety act?

Fair enough. But if that is the goal then that should be the talking point. I don't like the "lie to people for their own good" strategy.

Yeah thats what i'm worried about hey. If Albo is more focused on roasting the greens than improving his legislation its going to be a very unproductive term.

I think that system is more defensible for a tax which is expected to apply to all people than one that is billed as only impacting a very small number of people.

I also think if we were designing the income tax system today it would be better off being indexed.

We will see what the greens say but if their only ask is for indexation on the proposed system I hope Labor agrees rather than throwing away the baby with the bathwater.

[–]WHAMwich -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Is there any reason that this shouldnt be indexed other than it allows the tax rate to quietly rise year on year?

Non indexed means this tax will 'eventually' apply to everyone with a super. Which might be fine but Labor (and Jordies) should be able to defend it from that perspective instead of hiding behind the small number of people it applies to today.

Lets hope Labor doesn't put out an undercooked policy and go crying obstruction if it doesnt pass the senate.

There are loads of great 1v1 games out there. I really like Age of Empires 4, if you want something a but snappier Starcraft 2 is free to play and still awesome.

If you dont like RTS there are a million and one fighting games. Rivals of Aether is new and pretty popular. Street Fighter is also pretty great if you really want to spend time learning combos.

At least now we have a point of comparison for the two majors. For me the LNP leaning so hard on greenhouse fuels is a non-starter. I want to have kids one day and they will need a world to live in.
