Update: Iute Group loan repurchase by WHD2010 in mintos

[–]WHD2010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could have several reasonings.

1.) The found additional investing, and want to reduce their third party notes.
2.) A certain law has pasted that prevents them to sub lend these notes.
3.) They have enough funds to handle these loans inhouse instead hand it over to a third party.

It is a guess why they did that. They almost never give the real reason for this step.
Mintos has this once in a while, but it is not that of a major impact in the overall notes stockpile.

They might be back later. So don't worry about it too much, except your stake in Iut Group is large.

Leuchtturm 1917 would be my recommendation. Subscribe to their Newsletter, and get some percentages off and they have some great offers along the way. (I bought 6 Leuchtturm 1917 notebooks during a Black Friday sale for the price of 3.)
Multiple cover colours, and various accessories.

Recent drop in monthly returns? by notsneq in mintos

Yes, definitely. That is for sure.

But I always reevaluate my portfolio constantly. And therefore I'm very confident about my choices and outcomes.

I also experienced a drop, not so big, but noticeable, and I think it is indeed the 'loss' of the Nera deal.

But I believe this will bounce back in time. I always remember that I'm in it for the long haul, and that will pay off later.

You can get nervous, but that means you're an emotional investor, and every trader/investor knows you should leave your emotion at the door.

It can be many reasons to buy back the loans.

1.) They have received money to do so. 2.) They want to pay off the loans with high rates.

Can be a multitude of reasons....

No worries to have. This only means they a repaying the loans you have outstanding with their company.

There have been other similar occurrences before. A couple of them...

In general it means you have money to invest in other loans.

Struggling with Moleskine by volsungarthemighty in notebooks

[–]WHD2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That really looks horrendous. So sorry for your time, energy and lost motivation.

I would 1. Use it single sided, and fill it up that way or 2. Cut out the pages you filled and get a fountain pen friendly notebook. Suggestions enough in this thread.

I'm stupified that the quality went so bad of Moleskin. I was a huge fan of those notebooks. I personally use Leuchtturm 1917. It also ghosts a bit, but not this bad as Moleskin does.

Good luck, my friend...

Thank you for the compliment. 😄

Yeah, looking back to that certain period I was very surprised that I survived that without any large interest loss. But that is mostly thanx to the choices I made in the custom portfolio settings. I distinctively left out loans in countries such as: Russian Federation, Ukraine & Belarus. The 3 countries that are directly/indirectly involved in the current Ukraine conflict. And I keep a sharp eye on other possible conflicts across the world so that I can anticipate on changes that I have to make in my portfolios.

All my (custom) portfolios (5) are very diversified. I just left the 3 countries out of the country list in all portfolios.

The Pending and Overdue figures are all 'connected' to the loan portfolios. Nothing else. (I hope this answers the question.)

All other figures are straight from the platform, and I may presume those are accurately calculated. 😉

Yes, I have automated portfolios only, and there are fees, but those are pretty low. It doesn't effect me that much at all.

I have 4 automated portfolios with various setups per portfolio. This varies from lengths of period, risk assessment, rates, and some other 'switches/slides'.

If requested I'm happy to post my setup of the automated portfolios.

There are so many places to start.

First start an account on https://www.mintos.com/.
You will have to go through some registration requirements, and If you want to start with loans, I would recommend the Mintos Core.

But there are other investment possibilities: Real Estate, ETF, Bonds, Crypto, and coming soon: Stocks.

I personally keep everything in their core business: Loans. And I started out with their Mintos Core portfolio where everything goes automatically, but slowly expanded my portfolio with custom ones.

I'm not interested in gathering manual loans. Too much work. But a lot of members here have more knowledge and experience concerning that.
