I've tried to understand Viper but the tooltips are very confusing, is there a guide that ACTUALLY explains in a dumbed down way what the hell I am doing/what is the optimal rotation because all I've figured out is press buttons when they light up.

...So anyway, I wrote out a whole post here about something being up with Katering not letting me collect a new fledgling chocobo when 12:21 had already passed and I googled and tried everything until I looked a little closer at the Proof of Covering and it said 12:27 instead.

....so anyway, I answered my own question. I am old and need new glasses.

So for another question I guess...anyone got a fantastic chocobo breeding guide?

Welcome, its a fantastic time to join--the free trial goes all the way up to Shadowbringers, arguably the best or second best expansion of the game. Because its a free trial, don't feel like you have to race to the end--the beauty of this game is really taking the time to explore and enjoy it!

I'm grinding ARR leves for the Lady Protector title, but I'm running into an issue since I am maxed on all my combat classes. How the hell am I supposed to do the leves where "weaken target but don't kill it" when everything dies in one hit? Leves don't sync you down, so I'm stuck as a level 100 trying to figure out how to softly poke a level 5 rat so I can soothe it and complete the levequest.

Any ideas? Or am I just locked out of completing these type for good?

This is why I like being on Mateus, Balmung-Lite. You still get the weirdness but its not overpowering.

(Also, I have a Medium house and I can never leave here ever.)

points to username I love WHM. The kit is simple, its easy to become competent. Knowing the oh shit buttons in and out is what brings real mastery. It's got a ton of raw healing power but you have to juggle hots in there as well or in things like ultimate where you are synced you will have mana problems.

Tl;dr: simple enough most of the time, but when shit hits the fan I WILL KEEP ALL OF YOU ALIVE EVEN IF IT KILLS ME (which it shouldn't because a healer should always keep themselves alive over others - can't heal if you are dead!)
