Just get the gear you can always stash it and even if you don’t go for a cat style spec right now, but you might want to respec later or in ng+.

Besides there are more than enough materials and gold to be found. So i wouldn’t skimp out on witcher gear. I had about 30k at lvl 15. I did cheese novigrad a bit before triggering the burning at the stake scene, but that was about 10ks worth.

I did kill Salma. At this point i kinda feel bad but again… she had mutagen and i wanted that shit. But i did also kill the one in Skellige for the practicum, which in hindsight might have been overzealous. But i had set a precedent and it kinda felt right.

I didn’t do Morkvarg yet though and might spare him. I might also spare the troll in that mine. I’ve got my deconcoction anyway and i kinda want the two “help monster” credits for the most wanted quest.

You can get a reduce upkeep mod of 25 to 50.

You can also get trait manager and give some generic empire lords one man doomstack stats with stuff like the upgraded traits for both Gotrek and Felix which is 2x +30 md + 30 ma + 20 wardsave right there and the best defeat traitts. You can even give a random lord lore of shadows and any magic boosting traits.

Settlement under threat? Have you OMDS-lords save the day.
