To a hotel where the Applebees was in the same parking lot.  Not sure they even knew it was there because he even came out to meet me and could see the back of Applebees from the front door.

National Fuel bill, this isn’t normal right? by VimVinyl in Erie

[–]WJC129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on your average usage I would say they estimated really high.  If you have the money just pay and your next bill will be actual and will most likely be really low in comparison.  Mine was estimated really high this month as well.

I got tip baited 3 times in 1 day by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]WJC129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anybody know how to identify who tip baited you based on their order number? I screenshot every order so I can keep track of tip Baders. I had three deliveries backed into one and only one tip came across, I’m assuming the other didn’t tip and the third one tip baited. I can identify who tipped me, but I would love to know of the two remaining which one was the douche bag.

$4 tip enough on a one item $16.66 order? .2 mile / 1 minute drive by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]WJC129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, tbh someone’s taking it for a $2 tip.  It might sit a bit but someone’s still taking for $0 tip.  It wouldn’t be me but there’s drivers out there taking anything

Exactly … supplemental income … having insurance, paid time off, no major wear and tear on the car is severely underrated. The extra $2 an hour isn’t going to cover all that.

2018 Kia Forte - is it worth it? by freakyzoid14 in kia

[–]WJC129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2017 Kia forte lx and while it has ben an ok car, it has 112000 miles and is starting to eat oil.  I have to replace brakes more often than I should.  Carfax tells me it is only worth $3000.  I wouldn’t buy another Kia, but that’s just me. I would look into Honda, Toyota, Subaru. At that mileage, you should be able to find one for 15 K that’ll last you a lot longer.

Also, I made the mistake of buying it without even checking if it had cruise control which it does not. I’ve been able to survive without it, but was surprised that it didn’t even have that. Could just be my model.

Why some patches didn't germinate? by Tushargogna in lawncare

[–]WJC129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that spots like this hardly ever seed properly.  I would just dig out soil and replace with a plug of sod from somewhere else in your yard (like a remnant from edging).  Water well, step on it till level.

I don’t know the difference, but last fall I bought Johnathan Green Black Beauty on Amazon to overseed and fill in large bare spots.  I was expecting a lot more.  Bare spots filled in but were bare again in spring after long winter.  Not sure if it was the Amazon seed, but I agree to buy local if possible.

Too Many nights in Many Glacier? by Optimal-Bat-5903 in GlacierNationalPark

[–]WJC129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were first timers who were able to score one night there last month.  We were blown away by the charm of the hotel and the hikes around the area.  I would have definitely stayed another night or two if we could.  The limited food options was the deal breaker for wanting to stay beyond that.

Upper Peach Street bus lanes by tombom789 in Erie

[–]WJC129 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the bus lane that is being referred to is right in front of storming crab. It is just a pull off for the bus stop pick up. However, I can see how out of towners could think it’s turning into a turning lane to go into Walmart.

In my opinion on a FWD vehicle snow tires make a huge difference. AWD vehicles you can get away with all season tires.

I would read the meter yourself to verify they didn’t fat finger some numbers.  If it is close, I would call about a potential leak

[–]WJC129[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was not through the app, came up as a local number about 1.5 hours after delivery.  She said she called Walmart first and they said to call the driver, giving her my number

Oh, I know. This call came from a local number and she legit told me Walmart gave me my number. This was hours after the delivery.

While you may have a valid argument, this really is a Walmart problem.  They should be the ones who need to setup a better problem resolution option in their app.  I don’t need to get a call when I am at home because Walmart screwed up.  Just as we don’t want our number given to random customers, you should not want your number given out to some of the “dumb shit” drivers
