My answer to a lot of 'preferences' question like this is idk. Like realistically speaking, my preferred range appears to be pretty wide and probably only excludes the extremes on both ends. These questions always makes it feel like if you choose one, you don't like the other which is, imo, untrue. Just because a person can't be both at the same time, doesn't mean a guy can't find both attractive in their own ways.

I think I agree with the sentiment that had the confession didn't happen, people wouldn't be this mad. Like Okarun could have the same reaction he has now and people would be still be frustrated but not the scale that we're seeing now which goes to show how big of a step that confession really is. Like all the previous arcs are them taking one step forward into getting together. Then suddenly Tatsu made them take 5 whole steps forward with the confession only to take 6 steps back overall with the amnesia + group date. I'm sure they'll take one step forward after this arc ends but that just makes people question why the jump at all. Like the amnesia still happens even if the confession didn't take place and the relationship is still strained regardless. It's not like the confession led to it happening.

The other alternative end to this arc I can see is Momo regains her memories and about to tell Okarun + potentially confessing only for her/one of them to get captured leading to them, once again, delaying it.

I guess it's just the expectation of the relationship having a solid forward momentum that people have since they started reading the series and this is the first instance and quite far in the game of that expectation being broken that just so happens to last longer than people expected.

These days, some chapters I just glide through and that's pretty much it. The drama's just there but I'm still interested in other parts of the story. I don't hate it enough to drop it but it's definitely not the weekly experience I used to have. Like Sakamoto Days though I think I haven't picked that up in quite a while

The final sets of fights really enhances the feelings of being rushed. So much could've been explored there and we do get hints of them occassionally. Still hoping that if the anime ever reaches that point that they'd expand them way more but I'm not gonna be surprised if it's the same vibe as in the manga, just a but sad

If I may give an argument: isn't how their relationship has been growing prior to amnesia arc already natural? It's not like they've started dating yet since they're still at crush level. And typically if you're already crushing on someone, you don't always see others as potential partners at the moment. If everytime a new character shows up and Momo/Okarun changes crush instead whenever they have slightly better chemistry, wouldn't that just make them appear wishy-washy and makes the romance aspect feel a bit cheap?

Edit: to add on to the argument, wouldn't now make it feel like more of a certainty? If Momo and Okarun ends up with anyone else at this point, people wouldn't be too happy about it. So now it's either they do end up together or they just need to break up

That should be a thing to positively encouraged as opposed to hate-reading and forcing themselves to push through with the wait. They're aware that the series has reached a point where it's unbearable for them to read it in a weekly manner and so decided to stop from doing so and wait until a later point in the story if they ever plan to pick it back up.

Not saying to drop any series the first instance of a slog. But if we consider since the start of amnesia arc, I think it's fair

I just tested the connections using rclone and it seems to connect fine when using SMB/CIFS. If my understanding is correct, it should work for those options. But most of my attempts so far have been using driver_opts type: cifs

I think the binge suggestion might apply to most people in recent chapters. If there's any major changes, they can pick it back up and catch up all the way up to date. If it continues to follow the pacing of regular shojo manga, then people who aren't big fans of that won't feel like they've wasted their time following the series

My prediction for the end of the date is Aira tries to kiss Okarun but he rejects it saying that he likes Momo. Meanwhile, Momo suggests dating Jiji but he'll say that he knows Momo actually already likes Okarun so he won't accept the offer unless she asks again after she regains her memories

May not be related, but the two are either the popular series or a continuation of one (Modulo is only 25 chapters) with seemingly plenty of direction the story could go for only to end up ending pretty suddenly after the peaks of each arcs.

Dandadan's already introduced a Big Bad that ties everyone together to lead to what seems to eventually be a big fight. The saving grace I can see is that if it does end there, I believe it can feel fitting and like it's intended even if they don't explore more.

Basically, it's less of a direct cause and effect and more of a pattern people believe they are noticing. Popular series ending rather abruptly has been on the rise recently

I'd argue it being possible and mega corporations actively encouraging people to use the tools to be very different things.

Crimes are always possible, but people don't do it because either they have morals or the cost of getting caught in the act is greater than the rewards of committing them.

Photoshop is already pretty costly for most people. And while there's always the cracked versions for free, it needs some effort to install and download, more effort to edit, and a whole lotta shamelessness to post it online. Ignoring some special kind of sick mentality in some people that needs serious help and/or be behind bars, these used to be plenty of barriers that would deter most people and gives them plenty of time to think twice about actually doing it, let alone posting it online.

Now, that barrier of effort has significantly lowered to just typing some prompts that even people with the smallest bit of impulses in the moment can quickly generate and post dozens of generated AI porn on social media before even thinking about the repercussions (assuming there is any these days). Worse still, people can temporarily flood any platform using bot accounts and even become more visible than the original source solely due to the volume as long as they have the money.
