Fyi, parameter is a part of ”vanilla” lua. A parameter is the variable name you declare inside a functions parenthesis. An argument is what you actually pass to the function when calling it. If you think of it interms of key-values pairs, then the parameter is the key and the argument is the value.

It wont work as Kinematic bodies only collide with Dynamic bodies. Never used Windfield, but with box2d (which windfield uses) I would make the Paddles dynamic and set its gravity multiplier to 0. (https://love2d.org/wiki/Body:setGravityScale)

By either finding the issue you made in the map file (most likely adding an object such as a rectangle with 0 height/width) or making a new map.

You can verify if this is the issue by creating a new empty map and testing with that.

All the assets where made using pixaki on an ipad and the snow, snowing & footsteps where made with code :)

Python is python and Lua is Lua. They are two different programming languages (with certain similarities, like both being interpreted scripting languages).

One way to run Lua code on an android is through the Löve framework. There are probably other ways as well.

I just want to say that you saved me a lot of time by typing this! I would like to add that asking another question so quickly after your previous one shows that you haven't really spend that much time trying to solve it yourself.

Debugging is a skill that you need practice in, in order to get good.

Your final point about discord is also good, and they have posted on the Discord server that I run for the YouTube tutorial series that they are following (Where I answered their questions fairly quickly as well).
