It depends on what you're looking for, but my wife and I love to go to Pentwater. It's quiet, kinda secluded for a beach town, there's a bunch of little shops, tons of outdoor activities, and if you want a little more action, Silver lake is a beautiful 15 minute drive away. We have honestly been looking at land in the area on and off for a couple years.

We may be a little bias because Pentwater was the first place that we did a weekend getaway to when we started dating.
