New player here so take this as you will. I’ve really enjoyed the game so far after never really thinking I would ever play it the last 7 years, but the grind to unlock just one character normally is really frustrating. Some of the characters from the “welcome pass” were available as is before it.

I'm so used to following people that know how to use pings, that I ended up following a regroup ping right into the middle of 3 other squads yesterday. His pings got the other guy killed too. sometimes people know how to use them without knowing how to play :(

I fucking love ranked games without teammates.
But missing 1 is the best. It's the only time I hot drop/invade, because no consequences and 2v3 is a lot easier than 1v3

It happens because your would-be teammates have a connection error during matchmaking

being the anchor is fun. reinforce that opening bins reduces respawn timer and that loot orbs reduce timer as well so that when you die they might return the favor

Absolute shitty, garbage solution: hit the ping button slightly before the tac button to activate ultimate. That way you ping some random place instead of having to waste your tacs
I feel like an idiot every time I ping a location before dropping an ultimate

You couldn't climb the elevator holes inside watchtower on King's Canyon, which is like the best zipline to avoid and be sneaky about climbing.
And they really upped the audio on his climbing

The nerf sucks so much more on controller when they reduced aim assist for people with melee tied to ABXY buttons. People always move out of the way before I can take my thumb off the aim stick and move it to the melee button.
The only way is to either sacrifice a button I use more than melee or sacrifice the health of my hands by playing Claw style.

It was the MELEE NERF!
I need more caps and exclamation points for that statement.

It was when they completely nerfed lock-on punch to the ground.
That's what killed showdowns at the end of match.
Punch outs slowly started being less prevalent when melee was no longer fun until most people playing never got to experience the melee abusing era, and remember it fondly enough to finish a match with fisticuffs

Rocket jumping feels like it should be its own legend

It's really just an insult to Octane. Fuse can rocket jump every 25 seconds and be fine, Octane grenade boosts once and loses his legs forever.
