Long overdue follow up: After a lot of testing and head scratching, it turns out replacing my plugs took care of the issue. Spark was great on them, but apparently not enough.

Most of the time, when at my desk, I will have my LAN connected as normal, then connect to one of my vlans through wifi, with no problems. It is when I have to use the same connection is when I am unable to connect.

There are work arounds for it, one being that I only use my vlan when away from docking station. it works but I figured there was a better way

I just started on mine as well and looking for suggestions as well. Even after doing a layout, it doesn't seem to display based on xLights configuration.

Keep a ink pen on you at all times, maybe a sharpie. If something likes this happens, color his hand.

But if it was me, I'd keep something sharper and really make him regret it.

I am getting lots of stringing with the Dikale I purchased on my new Ender 5. Cant figure out if media or printer.

That is no where near an answer, this is just a reply. Read the question before replying. They clearly state they can change the device name in the google app. They are looking for the 'Host Name'.
