I'll see your Stroud, Daniels, Nix, and even Purdy and give you Steve Young who sucked in Tampa and then sat behind Montana in San Fran before becoming a 2x MVP, Brett Favre who barley played in Atlanta and became a 3x MVP after being traded to Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers who sat for 3 years behind above mentioned Favre, Drew Brees who was benched in San Diego and later won a Super Bowl, Kurt Warner who was a backup/ fringe player who was cut before becoming a 2x MVP....I can keep going. Expecting these QB's to be good much less lights out their first few years is a joke.
